I do like to swan around in the gutters here once in a while, showing my ass off to the truckers like a high class drag queen in a pole dancing club. Wait, did I just say that out loud? :bdick::bdick::bdick:

Me Too B2TF!!!

I'm not sure what Martin Gray (or maybe Penney?) said to our lot at half time, but it certainly worked. We were poor in the first half and looked like getting well beaten by what seemed a limited but up-for-it Darlo side. After half time we came flying out and as soon as we went 2-1 up you could see Darlo heads drop all over the pitch. We ended up seeing it out fairly comfortably and could have a couple more if anyone other than Parkin could score. Still a worry that I don't think we've put together a decent 90 minutes all season, 45 seems to be the limit. Two big home games coming up against BPA and Spennymoor, and if we can win those the play-offs look achievable. Pretty sure we'll take a pasting from one of these two though, that seems to be how we roll this season.

Southport have signed Natalie Atkinson from Curzon Ashton to take up the role of Chief Executive Officer. I hope she can play on the wing too.

I'd imagine the Penney will have dropped after half-time :gmc:You guys flew out the traps and slaughtered us in the second half. Should have bagged a few more. 45 is our limit these days unfortunately. Good luck for the play-off run in.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
We are alright at curzon at the moment as we still have our two biggest assest.......John Flanagan the manager and Niall Cummins our main striker, and thankfully cummins has just signed a contract which was vital for us.

Natalie faced the impossible here, its just an area of numerous smaller non-league clubs, none of which can drastically get very good crowds, you are 10 minutes in a car from Droysden, Hyde, Ashton Utd, Stalybridge.......15 minutes in car from Oldham and Mossley, and 10 minutes in a tram from Man City, so your options are vast from them who want top football, them who want good standard football, but hate the top flight and them who like to hover around the non-league scene......even when you get that clump of man utd and city fans who go to non-league when their side play Sunday (and there is a small clump) you have to battle around a few non-league clubs and then have FCUM and Salford who try to nab good chunks of them lot......is a Tameside FCUM branch.

she has made is a lot on the corporate side, but for southport fans has never had to pick a manager yet as we have one of the best in league already (if not the best) so she could be iffy when that side comes (but cannot be any worse than your current revolving door lot were)

Well, Delial Brewster announced as the latest season long loan signing, let's hope he lasts longer than the 40 minutes Khius Metz managed before yet another injury. He can't miss more chances than the lads we already have so let's hope for the best, good luck, Delial.

Massive win for Nuneaton against Harrogate tonight who miss the chance to go top.

What the hell happened at Chorley. 4 players, two from each side sent off late on?!

Chorley are the reason why non-league gets a horrendous reputation. Nasty club.

Who would have thought after you strolled to an easy 4-1 win against us in August that by the time we next meet you would have been in the relegation zone. Absolutely crucial game on Saturday. Get the feeling both sides desperate for the 3 points/

Awful match. Both teams as bad as each other in the fight. Their no. 11 threw punches in the initial brawl. Only got a yellow. Then it all kicked off. Everyone involved which led to Eustace and our assistant being sent off as well as Ty Williams. Challoner was actually sent off for dissent as he argued with the ref during the second brawl, nothing to do with the brawl. Going back to KHFCShaun, that's an unfair statement, not just our team involved in the fight was it? If it was then why were 2 of yours also sent off? IMO this is the reason why non league is better, would never see that in prem!

big win for Nuneaton and a disaster for Harrogate who really are in my view making a right royal f*ck up of their season..............Salford have given them a glorious chance 2-3 times and they make a mess of it.

Bottom of this table is getting ridiculous now no one seems willing to be sh*t enough to just get relegated!

I'm also guessing that reply is because of the playoffs last year? If so then the people who were racist to you players were certainly not considered as fans and have since received lifetime bans

Wasn't at the game so I won't comment on the incidents. But Tyrone Williams will surely be released as the end of the season. 2 red cards in a month, both for violent conduct, 1 cost us the Darlo game the other he manages to be sent off with stepping foot on the pitch. We got rid of Ashley Carter last season for his discipline I expect the same to happen.

Also I doubt it's the last we'll hear of the two fights. Once footage is submitted to the FA and they review it.

Both clubs surely will be fined for failing to control players and staff, it was the liveliest minutes of an otherwise dour game, neither keeper had a shot of note to deal with and had they still been playing it would still be goalless! Seems we have the same problem, can't score, though last night I doubt Messi would have scored as there wasn't a single decent chance created by either side.
Oh well, on to Curzon, surely we must score soon!

Yep, we were wondering what to do with our cup run money, think we've just found out where it's gonna go.

I also want to say that this forum is much more civilized than Twitter. Almost every kiddy fan calling our club a disgrace. Things like this sometimes happen and it wasn't just us. Move on.

There is a fan uploaded video that might clear things up. The foul at around 9:40 initially started it, the reaction from the 11 started it all off and they were getting at each other ever since then

Same could be said for a lot of Chorley fans tbf.

Did you get a view of the penalty shout early on in the game? All our fans were saying it was a stonewall pen.

I wouldn't say stonewall, but could just have easily been given

I have heard the cards were given as follows:
Vermiglio- inciting the second brawl by gobbing off
Eustace- entering our technical area
Williams- punching challoner
Challoner- apparently put his arms up to protect himself, ref thought he was fighting back
I'm not going to argue about any of the reds, but not sure how the number 11 wasn't sent off.
