Deserved victory for Brackley, great entertainment - the best game of the weekend by far.

Fans looking/filming through their phones when their club is on the verge of history....baffles me.

Well deserved for Brackley, and what a feeling that must be for their fans. Back from the dead... twice!

Congrats Brackley.
Just out of interest how much were the tickets for the final?

Well...wow! Just the worst way to lose, last min equaliser then penalties. Struggling to swallow that.
I feel we were a little fortunate to feel like that, I thought Brackley were the better side, we just didn’t turn up at all. Such a shame, can’t explain how gutted I feel but fair play to Brackley. Better side on the day, all credit and congratulations to them.

Absolutely gutted.

Wolves fans will be feeling amused that it was Roger Johnson who scored the own-goal equaliser.

You should have heard the collective groan from me and my fellow stewards when Brackley got the equaliser. We'd all been there since 8-8:30 and just wanted to go home.

Well done Brackley, I travelled back to South London with some disappointed Bromley/Palace 2CW's

Congratulations to Solihull Moors ... err I mean Brackley. On a historic cup win, Brown winning it at least half a dozen other Moors players involved, all great players... can we have Dean back please?

Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d see a Bromley following at Wembley like that. Stuff of dreams.
Was a fantastic day, right up until the 94th minute. Still gutted at that result.

Sorry, he's signed on for next year already.
If you've anymore like him going spare at Solihull, please feel free to pass them down. No more slightly over the hill strikers needed though thanks.

Fantastic attendance, Play off finals should be similarly priced. Don’t know whose responsible for Wembley P/O pricing but who ever it is needs a rocket up their @r5e.
National league hire Wembley from Wembley Ltd at a rate of in the region of £4-500k.

Whilst the FA are proactive with the FA trophy and focus on getting numbers of casual day trippers at cheap ticket prices, the national league cover their back by charging £41 or £44 for tickets on the basis the minimum attendance has been 16,000 x £42 ave ticket = £675k. So far they’ve got away with that due to having a good sized club in the final each of the 4 years.

Were they to reduce the prices to £20 & £25 for example they would need a gate in excess of 25,000 which they aren’t confident of being able to market for.

The obvious solution is to move it to a midlands based ground where they would pay more like £100-150kand could charge a lot less, with better travelling for a lot of the clubs in the league. I believe this season was the last of the current deal to use Wembley so this may happen.

Attendance isn't really accurate since there were only a few Brackley fans & next to no Bromley fans at the Vase match - so attendance for that match maybe 10,000 - 12,000? Then unsurprisingly the Thatcham and Stockton fans had left by the time of the Trophy - so attendance around 22,000?. Nevertheless Wembley makes it a big day out so I'm glad it is there. Not sure the Playoff finals in Conf Nat really need to be at Wembley do they - playoff finals are not about the 'occasion', they are about winning.
Also - absolutely staggered by how appalling the road transport is off the motorway to get to Wembley. I'd heard it was bad, but it really is truly shocking...

I hate to be too critical, because the players left everything on the pitch. However, Neil Smith stitched them up with awful negative tactics. I can't believe we played 'park the bus' football for 70 minutes after taking the lead. The substitutions were completely baffling. We took off out three most potent attacking players to go five at the back, and unfortunately got what we deserved. Wanadio must have been wondering why he was left out when three of the five subs were defenders. Brackley deserved the win in the end, but we completely shot ourselves in the foot.

Like you say, the play-offs should be about winning. The final should be played in a 30,000 seater stadium so that it isn't too big for the clubs involved. The City Ground springs to mind as a stadium that would be a far better venue than Wembley.

Been a tidy outfit for a good few years now Brackley. Got to be one of the front runners to win the league next year

Congrats Brackley. Th roughly deserved.

Brackley and North Ferriby have won the Trophy in recent years

Billy Heath has a brillant record in the compeition.

A bit ambitious to say we may win but I fancy us for a deep run in the competition next season.
