Maidenhead v Boreham Wood
Woking v Sutton
Wrexham v Guiseley

Not confident that Rovers will get anything from the trip to Ebbsfleet, particularly as Mellon's pre-match interview suggests he isn't planning to change much.

The game at Dagenham is probably the pick of the fixtures, with the hosts up against Halifax, who've started the season surprisingly well. The clash of the relegated pair in east London will be interesting, while I'd expect Dover and Sutton to pick up maximum points.

This is a massive massive game for us because E10 said something nasty about us in pre season and we have to get him back for that. :bdick:

Since then, my life has become one long obsession of being able to quote his comments (which are printed on post it notes stolen from my office, stuck all over my house)...... and post them up here once we inevitably dick all over Orient, live in front of about 43 people on BT Sport. Our TV record is amazing, and we are quite frankly unstoppable whenever we get an opportunity to showcase our talents on the box. Thank you Iain Logie Baird, thank you sir.

The battle of the BELTS eh? Bet all you non league types are salivating, along with Adam Virgo, about the prospect of watching high quality National League football, played out by two failed FL clubs.

Will be a hard game as Orient are still unbeaten against anyone where Peter Mandelson has been cottaging.

Bizarre really that Tranmere's away game down at Ebbsfleet is still all ticket for away fans. I think this and our poor performances will put off many south east based Rovers fans from going.I'm traveling down even though i hav'nt got a match ticket. Got a feeling the only highlight of the day will be a pre match visit to the Cavemans brewery tap, the George and Dragon.

Game of the day is at Kingfield, a good old fashioned Surrey Derby. After winning on aggregate last season, league leaders Sutton will be looking to reaffirm their return to their rightful and historic place as Kings of Surrey Football. I know Sparrow has his autograph book ready to get the signatures from the likes of Craig Dundas, Craig Eastmond and (injury permitting) Jamie Collins, on what is a big day for Woking FC.

Prediction 1-1

We're generally cack when live on TV, the opportunity to show ourselves up to a bigger audience is always too good to turn down it seems, we're looking a lot more solid at the back but still goal shy.

I'd imagine he'd pick the same team that started Tuesday at Wrexham, I'd like to see Simpson in for Oates but I don't think he'll start him.

Despite our up turn in form I think we'll lose this, Orient surely aren't going to be shite for a third game in a row and our lack of goals is a bit of a worry.

Jennings returns for us after his suspension (How can you get 5 bookings by this stage of the season?). The tightest defence in the league v a Paul Cox managed team - The excitement is almost too much. Rooney will probably put his best performance of the season in. I'm going for 1-0 as we have to get back to winning ways.

First long trip for us since the start of the season. No injured players back yet although Lyons-Foster is available. Think Waddock will go for an unchanged team though. I would take a point now

They created some glorious chances on Tuesday night, but if you're going to miss open goals from 6 yards out, well It's gonna be tough for you. :bdick:

By the way, I said before season started we had the division's best striker who would leave us for Premier League in January- watch this space.

Win and we move into the top half for the first time since the first few games of last season. 2-0 Macclesfield win.

Interesting to hear that plucky Sutton will be wearing commemorative shirts on Saturday to mark their massive cup final against Woking.

I hope all Sutton supporters enjoy their famous day out.

Nah Askey was never prolific even in his playing days, be no point signing him.

Championship side Reading are of course Aldershot's big rivals.

I've heard Reading are arranging a benefit match to raise funds for all of Aldershot's injured players to supplement the Wadfather's £250k hair gel budget. They'd take a draw.

To us old cvunts who've followed us for the best part of a million years, Reading will always be the enemy. After all, I've seen us play more league games against them than I have against Woking. I do accept it may be while before we play them again though. I also accept we have more fans that have never seen us play the scum, so are happy to settle for second best and have invented this Woking rivalry. Anyway thought your 'derby' was Stevenage, who you've played, what, twice?

Spot on. At heart, clubs like Reading and Wigan are League 1 or 2 clubs at best and in time that is where they'll settle again. Exactly the same applies to clubs like Aldershot, Halifax, Tranmere, Chester, Wrexham, Hartlepool, Orient etc (you know who you are). :bdick:

Look, I just want Sutton fans to be able to enjoy their big day out tomorrow at a proper stadium watching a game of football being played on grass.

The last thing we need is pictures of Jared crying into his half and half Woking vs Sutton scarf at full-time on the BT Sport highlights.

Ebbsfleet have now announced that Tranmere supporters can pay on the gate, twenty four hours before the game. Really irritating when clubs do this.

Is Scott Wilson isn't fit tomorrow I can see us struggling against Maidstone as we just don't carry the same sort of goal threat when Tyrone Marsh is leading the line. Having said that we had Jack Sampson in the team last year and we produced one of our most dominant displays of the season in a 3-0 win so fuck knows what will happen. I've got a sneaky feeling we'll slip up at home again tomorrow. 0-1.

Yeah, two of the divisions big shots on TV :bdick:

No idea what to expect to be honest, we should've had a few goals Tuesday night, but we should've let in a few more as well. The 3-0 loss didn't quite tell the story of how end to end at times our game was on Tuesday. I actually found it an entertaining game, it was that end to end. Particularly first half.

Even though part of the loss was down to losing our first choice centre halfs Josh Coulson & George Elokobi, the fact we concede so many chances anyway on a whole as a team, shows that I don't think Steve Davis has learned from his mistakes at Crewe, we're far too open and we've paid for that already. Granted we've had to scramble a side together quickly, I can't see Davis being the man long term to take us forward, he'll probably help settle us down as club for 18 months and we'll probably get a few entertaining games with a few wins thrown in, but I can see now why he struggled so badly at Crewe - He can only play one way and is unable to adapt a different game plan. Its been obvious for weeks that we don't look solid as a team, despite our strengths going forward.

If Michael Clark and Jamie Sendles-White play centre half again, we could have another goalfest.......

Hate it when we're on TV, We're usually pants!
