The L1 forum may be active but not as much as L2 and you'll find that there are barely any people here from the bigger clubs, mostly just lower to midtable clubs whose fans are all depressed and there are no characters here. Enjoy.

I've found L1 to be a fairly boring and predictable league and also hasn't helped how awful we've been. The football is better but it's always the same teams up at the top going up to and coming down from the Championship and the bottom is predictable too. Also the L2 forum here has more banter...

Jumped up little non-league clubs get eaten alive in L1. We just had some misfortunes.

Barrow just aren't strong enough to be a play off side that's 3 defeats in a row now. Time you made way for a more capable club to be up there. You're a million miles away from being a L1 club.

I'm sure we'd gladly take any of Hippolyte, Sarcevic and Madden. Sarcevic has played for 4 clubs at L2 level in his career and all 4 have got promoted with him there. Is Hippolyte injury prone? Is that why he'll be getting released?

I don't think that will concern you next season. Do Forest Green still have any good players left there from your promotion season? You had many quality players that made us look like mugs back when we were hopeless.

That's how we've felt after we won the L2 play offs last season, we knew that we had no chance of competing in L1 but we had not had a promotion to celebrate in way over a decade so we needed to win that even though it meant that we'd become a victim of our own success soon after. I'm not too...

And you've all been beaten by us this season! That should be deserving enough of going down. We even did the double over Burton.
