Enjoy Grimsby away . Nice cash for your nothing club.
Shit footy bantz init. As you say, you've heard it all before and it was only a few kids so best not lose too much sleep over it. Anyway good luck in the league, going off last night you should be quite a threat this season.

Your team showed great determination and that second goal was a cracker . Good following as well considering the nature of the cup now . Plus I heard it was your 4th or 5 th straight penalty win ? Good luck next round .

Yeah I can hardly believe what a competitive squad Sol has managed to put together despite our own ownership issues. And you're right about our freakishly good penalty record - I think we've won something like 10 out of 11 in our history, only loss being in the Checkatrade which I've decided doesn't count :bg:

Lincoln vs Everton selected for TV on the Wednesday.

A full house and £100k TV money in the bag, which will go in the transfer kitty just before the window closes.

100 won't buy any of our players. Except maybe Calvin...

Tomorrow night sees the visit of Carlisle United. We should be favourites, but you never know.

I'd like to see Rekeil Pyke given a start to freshen up the forward line. Aaron Morley in for Jimmy Ryan in midfield and Jimmy Keohane or Tyler Magloire giving young Matheson a rest at right back.

And, whatever happens that day at Bury or Bolton, no sick gloating...

Gonna be a mad rush for me.

Probably get home from work about 7 earliest (audit week!) then will have to rely on a taxi to get in on time.

EDIT - I don't think we've ever lost 3 on the spin under Cowley either, but this might be the first occasion!

Morecambe at home.
I will just leave that there, while you imagine 3 sides of the pirelli shut and 28 away fans in the seats.

Milton Keynes at home, thrilling. If it hastens the demise of Bond quicker and nice 5-0 thrashing for us please.

Trust me we're looking forward to it about as much as you are. You might actually beat us, our results so far have been very flattering - a lucky deflected winning injury time goal at home to Shrewsbury, beaten 3-2 away to Wycombe, somehow managed to hang on to a 2-1 lead over a dominant Lincoln side, and got battered 4-0 at home to Peterborough.

Defending for our lives is all that has saved us from being further down the table.

We were losing 2-0 but Mark Sykes got 1 back in the 87th minute. We then finally got a penalty, in the 4th minute of injury time, and James Henry scored to equalise.

We won 4-2 on penalties.

Happy with that as we made more changes than Millwall and started with mostly squad players. Rob Hall and Shandon Baptiste both started which is fantastic considering their injuries over the last year+. Apparently we were lucky but that happens just like us at Blackpool.

Bad news as it looks like Matty Taylor is out for at least a month (maybe 2) with injury.

Cowley has suggested he'll be moving the squad around tonight (as much as we can, anyway) and already has pre-planned subs ready like we did against Huddersfield.

18 year old Ellis Chapman will start in midfield if he overcomes food poisoning, which would show we're not taking it 100% seriously, no disrespect to Ellis. Got to say, though, I'd also be looking to give 3 or 4 a breather - Bostwick, O'Connor, Grant, Walker. The likes of Bolger, Andrade and Akinde aren't the worst replacements in the world at all. Maybe even Eardley a breather, too.

A good game against a decent Carlisle team last night. Finished 2-1, both sides could have had more.

There's something really irritating about Lincoln, but I can't put my finger on it. They're dirty fuckers, but half the sides in the league are so it's not that. It could be Cowley's smug face, but then again we have Jabba the Hutt in charge so I'm not sure it's that either.

Any ideas?

@Lincoln fans, have been pronouncing Andrade incorrectly or is the Sky commentator getting it wrong?

They are just a team of long ball cloggers.

Quality draw for us with Liverpool at home. The boost we needed to bring in a quality player or two before the end of the window hopefully.

Beat QPR, defended well although QPR had a decent amount of attacking possession MacGillivray didn't have to really stretch to make any saves. Been rewarded with a south coast Derby.... Can't wait.. Bring on the scummers!
