If that was a dig, well done Josh.
I've never hid my feelings regarding our head coach in that I didn't feel he was anywhere near ready when he got the position and his losing run habit makes me feel he still isn't ready.
If that's 'making the most noise', so be it but at least I've been consistent.
It wasn't mate.

I think if we were to find ourselves in a relegation battle then he'd sack him.. but whilst we're floating around mid table then what's the point?

Let's be realistic, we were Stuck in league one for fucking years, got the promotion and yo-yod a bit between divisions.

Not saying Johnson is the man to take us up, but why do so many of our fans expect us to be around the play offs all of a sudden? Whether anyone likes to admit it or not, LJ has improved us. Whether he can continue to improve us is up for debate, but not sure where people think we should realistically be? For me it's mid table, which is where we are.

Correct, TomPNE94 thinks the ball goes backwards despite photo and video evidence suggesting otherwise.
That isnt a rule anyway, player has to be behind the ball if there's only one opponent left.

Personally, I've got no expectation to be in the top 6 Jon although it would be nice to be up there.
What I do expect, is a cohesive performance from a hard working team with a predetermined style. I don't think we've had that for 12 months if I'm being honest. This season, I think we've been really poor apart from the 2nd half v Stoke, I genuinely think the rest has been below par even though some results have been okay. Were we a tad lucky v Swansea, Sheff U and Blackburn?
My other issue is the long losing runs and the feeling that LJ has no idea how to break them. A decent manager would be able to do something, LJ seems incapable.
It pains me to say it but I can see us struggling to survive under LJ hence my long standing anti LJ stance.
I appreciate others may have a different opinion, which I totally respect, but that's mine FWIW.

About then. Watching your fella trudging off with young Harry Toffollo arms aloft in the background, I did feel something nudge my colostomy bag.

No offence Dan but there's a certain irony there with Toffollo and a s***bag in the same sentence.
Out of interest, why sack Brown after a win?

The last time we reached the 3rd Round I was still capable of a stiffy.
 you still going home and away or sacked it in for now? Lost track of Swindon tbh, I had a look at your side the other day and only recognised 6/7 players, all seems to have gone a bit stale.

Thought the same, good manager is Phil Brown, no idea who they’ll go for now. Toffolo’s now in L2 as well CU with Lincoln I believe, quite a coup for them, they have Jason Shackell as well, not a bad left side of decent at that level is it?

That's a tidy left side for L2 to be fair.

I’ve junked it. Stale is being kind. On a (very) limited budget Brown has overloaded on midfield players and didn’t bother with strikers. Ally that with comedy capers defending and he’s got what he deserved. We’re declining year on year under Power. The only chink of light is buying the CG 50/50 with the Supporters Trust and a £6m training ground facility. That’ll be dandy in the Conference.

Clean sheet, opposition fans moaning about us cheating and saying it was their 'worst performance of the season' and we looked average/ poor. Sounds like what we did most weeks away from home last year, promising.

You looked alright, better than us but you came with a game plan and executed it as you always do so deserve credit. It was our worst performance of the season I’d say but that wasn’t down to how good you were, we’ve played sides that have played better against us this season and got something from the game.

I can't talk about the game, just basing it on what i've read afterwards and it sounds a carbon copy of what we did so well last season on the road. Organisation, getting in the opposition's faces, frustrating them and limiting them to 1 or 2 shots on target.

If you're going to win away from home on a regular basis then its the correct formula.

Pearson must have been counting his blessings coming up against Pack, Brownhill and the young Everton guy. Technically good but don't like a fight.

yeah we miss Korey Smith, dunno if you rate him but he’s held in very high regard here. Walsh is our player as well, barely gets a look in though.

Been a fan of Korey Smith since his Oldham days.
