I'd be happy with Mark Hughes. The return of Nigel Howe earlier this year, who was CEO during the Coppell and McDermott era, means we've got an experienced head to direct the next course of action. As a result, I'll think we'll keep it safe and not appoint another unknown like Jose Gomes...

Wouldn't be surrpised, he just about kept us up last season and things haven't improved since. Chris Hughton and Gareth Ainsworth are the early favourites. Ainsworth is a Wokingham local so he could walk to the training ground every morning :lol:

My first visit to Ashton Gate in 1995, we brought 5,000 - that was a decent following. City fans were on the pitch after the game as well in protest :lol:

Ended up having a few beers down the bottom of North Street, found a decent boozer that we stayed in for pretty much the whole day. As for our following, who gives a fuck? We're Reading, we rarely ever travel well :lol: A good day was had, that's the main thing. Shame our players couldn't put...
