Haha, standard. Glad you enjoyed your cup final the other week.

I know it's frustrating being in this league, but that's about 1/5th of their home support so for down here that's not too bad.

We at Pools can only dream of them numbers coming here. Think Wrexham took about that amount and that's it.

Wasn't a brilliant turnout but it was a late kickoff and on TV, which will reduce numbers. Also people would have prioritised Orient over Dagenham given we haven't played Orient for a long time and have been to Dagenham a lot over the last 10 years.

740 Tranmere fans at Leyton Orient this afternoon.
That is a superb effort, if I say so myself.

I think we will sell out at Maidstone in a couple of weeks and have big followings at all the remaining games now.

We'd better move the fishnet barrier along a bit then.

Gillingham were allowed 600, which is probably the most we've hosted so far.

Didn't Lincoln bring that many last year too?

Looking forward to taking 5,000 fans to Halifax
That will be outstanding if it happens. I'm doubtful about that though, given Stockport only brought 3000 on their way to promotion from division 4, Man City brought 5000 to their FA Cup tie and Huddersfield (5 miles away) have never brought more than 6000, even in a promotion year. I think it will be closer to Grimsby's 1700, 2 years ago.

I don't think he was being serious! It heavily depends on how the league is going obviously, but if it's a crucial game we could match that Grimsby figure.

I was fishing admittedly.

If there’s a chance we can win the league on that game we will take a lot more than 1,700 though.

The match wasn’t segregated (which surprised me … unlike reports of subsequent fisticuffs), so where does this figure come from?

BBC Radio Berkshire commentator estimated 200-300, but said there seemed more away fans than vs Chester.

Stockport in the Trophy was segregated: they brought 261.

I wouldn't be shocked if our support at Barrow is in single figures tonight
Christ that is a tough sell. South London to Barrow in Furness on a rainy Tuesday night. 4 hour train or 5 hour car journey... probable overnight stay.

Can’t imagine Sutton have many Cumbrian based exiles either.

I would be very surprised, if we had to get a win or a draw to get promoted, if we took less than 2 and half - three thousand. We took over 2 thousand to Scunthorpe a few years back and thats a lot further than Halifax is.

We had 16 on a Wednesday night in April when we were pretty much already relegated, you can do it lads!

2 weeks notice after being postponed with a decent amount of Sutton fans either in Barrow or well on route, who's going to pay for that trip twice in quick succession? Plus the weather means it's all touch and go

Try your best not to go 3-0 down after half an hour like we did though as it kind of kills the atmosphere a little bit. :bg:
