Confirmed by Maidstone's manager that we're signing Joe Pigott on Monday.

In addition to signing Byrne on a 2 1/2 yr deal, looks like we are bringing Doyle back for the remainder of the season.

The money is clearly coming from somewhere.

We’ve bid for Kevin Mellor a right back from Blackpool, L2 team of the year last year I think. Alan Nixon whatever he’s called says we’re looking at Ryan Taylor from Plymouth, someone else I’ve never heard of.

Ryan Taylor is a good target man who doesn't score a lot.

We’ve missed a striker who doesn’t score since Hanson.

In seriousness though, again some are have a hissy over him. He’ll be back up to Wyke which we desperately need. We can’t expect to get a 1 in 2 striker to sit on the bench, I’d be happy with this then maybe we can concentrate on improving our garbage defence and central midfield, which has cost us a chance of top 2.

Rumour that Wigan are enquiring about Josh Yorwerth at Crawley.
Decent lower league centre back but he is young so potential to improve. He does go chasing the ball a bit so we sometime use him as a defensive midfielder.
Rumour Posh have put a bid in for Jordan Roberts.
A left winger who we have used as a centre forward all season because we don't have any (any good ones that is). Quick and strong, always puts in a shift. We'll give you him if we can have Gwion back.

I didn't mean he was shit compared to man city, I handily rated him compared to this level for added relevance.
I gathered that, the point is most are garbage at this level. Those that aren't move on up the divisions, this is 3rd division football a target man isn't going to be like Ibrahimovic.

You clearly didn't gather it, because I wasn't comparing him to Ibrahimovic. I was saying he was shit by the standards of 3rd division target men. If most 3rd division target men are shit, then he is shit compared to them, and the sassy Ibrahimovic mensh remains irrelevant.

Kean Bryan *looks* to be on his way back to us for the remainder of the season.

Believe Wigan were also in for him but he’s favouring a return to us as he’s pretty much guaranteed to play every game.

Any defender who gets a call from us this month might as well put the phone down unless they have a bench fetish. We’ve not conceded a goal since November.

He may have been crap at Oxford but Ryan Taylor is outstanding for us so keep your hands off.

He may not score loads of goals but he allows our midfielders to do that for him. He's one of the most vital cogs in our team and our upturn in form coincided with his returning from injury after breaking his ankle after 15 minutes in the first game of the season.

Jack Payne has been recalled by Huddersfield so can only assume he is to be sold or loaned out to a Championship team.

Doubt it, Doyle is fucked for a couple of months by all accounts.

Fee agreed for Joe Bunney apparently.

Marc Richards left by mutual consent as well which is a sad day. Proper legend.

In his best interests, shame that he has departed like this but I'm sure that he could do a decent job for a L2 side?

Meh.

Brilliant on his day but also utterly anonymous on other days. Blackburn hammered us at our place so Jack playing for them won't make any real difference against us.

He didn't really fit into our new tactical set up and may have limited us tactically previously by having to fit him in by having to play a no.10 role. He really doesn't fit anywhere else.

Good luck to him at Blackburn as he did give us some fantastic moments.

Wouldn’t say no to Richards and we’re looking for a forward. Have his legs gone or is it due to injuries?

Sadly not up to League 1 standards anymore, think he'd still score in League 2

If he has mobile players around him think he could still do a job at a league 2 side. I could see him ending up at Coventry though.
