RefWatch; Ref for Swindon (played 7 times at home since '79, W3 D3 L1) is John Busby, 28, a tubby ginger from Oxford - big U's fan. First season as FL ref - only did 18 games in Conference last season (44Y & 8R - massively huge), so should be similar to Michael Salisbury, the young chap who reffed our Shrews game so dreadfully. Having resided in Swindon myself during the Lee Peacock days I can confirm it is truly a fantastic place to live, if you want to experience what life must have been like during the bubonic fucking plague. It's the only town in England where you mentally dress the local ladies as they waddle down the street.

Never reffed Wombles or Robins. Hates the scum. Never reffed them. Hates them. Were you dancing around your living room on Sunday night, you fat scouse prick? You know you're fucked when even Ian 'Mystic Mug' Holloway thinks your gameplan is predictable. I hope Rip-Off Van Winkelman doesn't sack him yet though, the comedy value alone is wonderful.

AnagramWatch; John Busby = Shy Bun Job.
KettleWatch; Reffing Bantams v Shrimpers on Tuesday. Darren Ferguson put in a complaint against him for 'swearing at a number of players' during the 5 goal thriller at Donny. Top work Trevor. Also, well done to our Darren for his fantastic MOTM performance for us on Sunday against Oxford - I've always said he's a brilliant ref. DeadmanWatch anyone?

Fuck knows why, but we've sold out. We'll get stuffed - no CBs, 2 strikers who haven't scored a goal between them and a manager (in the loosest term) who's heading for the exit.

Somebody said we've got Bobby Zamora playing in a development game this afternoon.

'When the ball hits your head
When you're sitting in row Z
That's Zamora'

My local game!

Looking forward to a few in Surbiton and then a 2 hour break before back to the pub to drown the sorrows*

*I'm well past this stage of being bothered when we lose.

Swindon supporters had best drink elsewhere before heading to the ground - you're not allowed in our bars. Nearest pub is about a 10-15 minute walk away.

When we get beaten tomorrow Williams will be sacked by 5 o'clock - knocked back to coach with a new manager coming in. Embleton will be gone completely. Fact.

Good.

That said a new manager won't be able to address our shocking injury situation.

Will take more than a new manager to sort out this mess. January needs to prove fruitful or I'm fairly confident we'll be back in League 2.

we didn't want to drink in 'your' bars anyway. Full of gypsies, tramps, thieves and closet MK Dons fans, so I heard.

On the current form of both teams this should result in a comfortable home win. SHOULD!!
Then again this is the sort of game we're more than capable of losing.

Point apiece.

Yes. Get a seat or get in early and down the front if you're under six foot. And if it's raining only about half the terrace is under cover.

Great! I'm about 5 ft 7 and have terrace tickets. The London reds are always late so it sounds like I'm not going to see a lot of the game - which is not necessarily a bad thing!

Forgot to mention we have one fit centre half, our best striker is out injured and our form is miserable so I might not even make the game!

:) Banned on police advice I'd guess. Any of your lot known for trouble?

Anyway, if you wander in while I'm on main road stewarding duty, do say hello.

Not really my scene Meadow but I think there are a handful of idiots just looking for trouble. Personally I don't think there will be any issue at all.

I'm meeting my fellow London reds in Surbiton before the game for some real ale and probably a taxi to the ground missing the first 10 minutes. I'll look out for you Meadow!

As for the game. 3-1 To the home team today, banker.

That's the weakest ever Town team I have seen. There's 2 youth players on the bench I have never heard of.

Right royally fucked.

Poor game between two poor sides. Had that penalty gone in I am sure we would have folded but a great save by Vigoroux who is fast becoming our player of the season (by default really)

WTF happened Wimbledon?

Couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo.

What happened in the away end? A Swindon supporter on twatter has apologised for the behaviour of some of his fellow fans.

Nothing too out of the ordinary as far as I know. I was in the terrace behind the home dugout and a few of our more braindead fans were singing towards the AFC Wimbledon fans but no idea what about. There were a lot of kids about so perhaps for swearing? Don't think there was a lot of animosity really.

There was a guy having an in depth chat with one of the stewards but I don't think it was anything too serious to be honest Meadow.
