Two games in....

And no team has won both games which is quite unusual. I know it's far too early to form any real opinions yet but just thought I'd give a few thoughts.

Luton had a great win on the first day of the season but were held at home by Yeovil on Saturday in a game I'm sure most Luton fans would have expected to win.

Only 1 team in the whole "EFL" has got a 100% record - and that's QPR after just 2 games. Very unusual.

We expected to win, yes, and being 1-0 up you'd expect us to either hold on or extend that lead. We hit the proverbial wall after the game v Aston Villa on the Wednesday, having 1 day less rest day.

Then there's also the fact that the bigger connie clubs rarely drop points to the struggling sides, bankers in other words.

Also surely Limerick Mariner was taking the piss with his original post mentioning Braintree!

Yes but my memory failed me as well. For some reason I'd recalled wrongly that our welcome to the conference moment was the 5-0 defeat at Braintree, however, that was an August Tuesday night in Essex in our second season, the first two seasons down there have become a bit of blur, seems like an age ago when Neil Woods was our manager. I really thought we'd piss it back up straight away. In fact, our welcome to the conference moment was probably the home defeat to Hayes and Yeading (where?) followed shortly by a 4-1 tonking at Rushden.

Really surprised at just how easy league 2 is, 4 games played and we have scored in every one, childs play!!

After four games Morecambe have built up an unassailable lead.

The first few games have been a bit unusual GTFCfish the big hitters have failed to hit and most teams look to be fairly even. It's been unpredictable hence our poor showings in the last man standing game. You aren't the only team to have scored in every game. This won't last all season I'm sure though.

Means very little, we've won the same number of games.
Still trying to work out who the weakest and strongest sides will be so I can tell if we've had a good, bad or indifferent start.
Getting the impression that everyone is more evenly matched than was the case last season which suggests a high relegation total and a low playoff total but I'm probably jumping the gun.

I hadn't looked where you were but felt you may have had a point. There haven't been very many big victories so far I don't think, and you got one of them, lots of draws, lots of surprising results.

We looked poor, disorganised and disjointed in our first couple of games but seem to have gelled a bit since then. Hopefully we can really hit the ground running now and make it 3 on the bounce at Blackpool on Saturday, which will be a very good test.
