Cardiff travel to Bolton on Tuesday night and will be hoping to claim their first away win of the season. The Bluebirds who beat Leeds 3-1 on Saturday to give Slade his third win at home in a row, for the first time this season. Bolton's last league game was a 2-1 defeat to inform Norwich on Friday night, with Cameron Jerome netting twice for the Canaries. The last time the two sides met, City won 1-0 in Bolton taking them through to the fifth round of last years FA cup. However Bolton won the last eleven games between the teams when the Wanderers were at home.
Cardiff will be without midfielder Dikgacoi sidelined for up to four months with a leg problem. Striker Kenwyne Jones will also be out after travelling back to homeland Trinidad due to a family grievance. Bolton will need to make major changes to their side because of loan disturbances. Both Kevin McNaughton and Joe Mason are unavailable as they can't play against their parent club. They will be able to call on Liam Trotter and David Wheater who are both back from individual injuries.
Russell Slade has selected the same team line up for City's last three league matches, which makes predicting the line-up a lot easier.
My predicted City line up is-
01- Marshall
02- Brayford
03- Fabio
05- Ecule Manga
36- Morrison
07- Whittingham
11- Noone
17- Gunnarsson
19- Pilkington
10- Le Fondre
14- Macheda
My predicted Bolton line up is-
01- Bogdan
03- Moxey
04- Mills
05- Ream
14- Dervite
06- Spearing
07- Feeney
17- Trotter
18- Danns
10- Beckford
28- Davies
Cardiff are yet to win away from home this season, and I can't see that record changing tomorrow night. My predicted score is Bolton 1-1 Cardiff.
