Oh, there will be. Rest assured there will be, there always is.

But the crying fans on the day, is only the start of it. It's the ongoing misery of realising you're not part of "proper" football anymore. The fixture list coming out, and realising there are names on there that you didn't even know had teams and don't know where they are. The FA Trophy. The other trophy. I didn't know what it's called now but it used to be the Setanta Shield. Teams with away followings in double figures. Teams with home followings in three figures. Teams who are the second team in a town where you used to play the first team in that town. Teams who arrive in cars or a minibus. All of the aforementioned teams beating you.

You have so much to look forward to............
So? Whats wrong with all that, I'm looking forward to a potential visit to Tow Law Town, Matlock and South Park. :)

If it makes you feel better, everyone on the forum is laughing at you rather than us ;)

Yeah, they pity you. But don't worry, in a few months time they'll have all forgotten who you are, while you rot away in the Conference………….

Reedy thinks we're going to be in the Conference for years and years like Oxford :pmsl:

If you think it's easy to get out of ask Luton, Wrexham, Lincoln, Mansfield etc. All did (are doing) considerably longer than us.

You're in for a shock. But then again you thought you were going to piss League Two last season! That went well, didn't it.

Come back and tell me how easy it is in twelve months time. You need a few years down there to learn some fucking humility.

Oh dear. Still not getting it, I see, Reedy. Never mind.

I realise it may be boring for other people, but this clown thought our relegation, and the circumstances surrounding it, was funny, and it seems as if he still does.

Now its my turn to take the piss out of him.

The FA Trophy. The other Trophy
:dk: In our 6 years down there the FA Trophy was the lowest that it got, not sure what this other Trophy is but it's certainly not around now.

It used to be called the Setanta Shield I think? Was a kind of Checkatrade Trophy for the Conference.

You'll understand what I'm getting at. The Orient fella thinks it will be easy, and his mate thinks it will be an adventure. Oh what joy awaits them............

Where did I say that? Careful now, Ree2D2, don't let that brainhamster work too hard.

How about here?

Reedy thinks we're going to be in the Conference for years and years like Oxford :pmsl:

New League Two Poster Of The Year 2015/16. Award dedicated to Eric Read's nan.

It's only a few posts up the page. Somebodies "brainhamster" needs to work a little harder! Sounds a bit like when you said you were going to piss League Two to me.

Oh dear. I don't think you're ever going to get it are you?

Ps. On a tangent, would you like me to set up a gofundme page to help you afford the therapy you need for your PTSD surrounding the events of 11 years ago?

I may be getting a bit ahead of myself here, but I believe Orient will spend less time down in the Connie than Oxford did, which was four years if I'm not mistaken. Of course, my thinking is all based on a new owner coming in sharpish, as with Becchs in control the only way is down not up.

Not expecting a promotion charge as early as next season, but wouldn't be surprised if they're back here after only two/three years. If Dagenham can be in the top 5 after last seasons' horror show than so can the O's. IOW, I'm very sorry eric pal, but they'll be back sooner than you think.

Hang on just a tad longer, it's only a matter of time before someone starts an Orient - Luton match thread. Inevitably, Eric will then make his way to over there.

There's nothing to get though, is there?

It's all in your imagination, that you're some sort of super wit, when the reality is you're a weirdo who follows a shit football team who are about to embark on years of misery playing village teams.
