I don't know about others but I hate the fact that these games take place on a Sunday lunchtime, often on a nice warm sunny Spring day, ironically accentuating the pain for the unlucky fans who confidently expected to avoid relegation/get automatic promotion, as well of course prolonging the agony of waiting and further increasing the nerves of those who have to get up at the crack of dawn to support their team in a crucial away match.

Why is that the Championship is the only division to have those Sunday lunchtime final day kickoffs? Even the Premier League ones are at 3 pm!

Football is more suited for some fat bloke sat in his armchair nowadays, rather than the fans who go to games.

Actually just noticed today's League 1 games are at 17:30, not sure which is the more ridiculous or hard on the fans of the two.

We're not going to win, Barnsley won't win, Burton won't win and Birmingham won't win

Pleased to see Birmingham and Bolton stay up. Would have been quite happy to see Reading, Hull and Cardiff go down.
Good luck to Burton and Barnsley next season and hope they get back up, but there are some good cubs down there I'd love to see back higher up, at the expense of clubs like, well Cardiff, Hull and Reading.
I would have said nice things about Sunderland too if the bastards hadn't hijacked our promotion party and turned us over. ffs! You had one job! Just lie down and let us stroll past you.

For me, managers of the season Phil Parkinson and Neil Harris.

Well what a dramatic end to the season, with Bolton's quick-fire goals completing an unlikely escape and Birmingham's surprise win over Fulham - the Championship final day rarely disappoints, even if Bolton have established a record for lowest number of points to stay up in the second tier since it became 3 points for a win. Shame I don't have Sky, would have loved to have watched at least one of those games, while seeing the goals flying in elsewhere. Is there going to be a Football League Show episode showing highlights from today's games?

Didn't sound lucky to me, sounded fully deserved. You should be glad almost like another home game for you lot isn't it?
I do feel sorry for Burton, but at 1 all against 10 men they had their chance and blew it.
Will miss going to Barnsley next season, but knowing how much they hate both Sheffield clubs (especially us) I won't shed any tears.
Well done particularly Bolton, but also Birmingham and sadly Reading.

Well done to bolton.
I’m absolutely gutted but you have to hand it to them.
Have to say, i'm right sorry you and Barnsley went down, and too be honest, when Forest scored their second, we were dead and buried for 10 minutes

Funny how great seasons (ie Fulham) can end in disappointment, while poor seasons can end on a massive high.
Remember us stopping up on last day in 2013, although the season was poor, the feeling after the last match was great, doing it in the manner you did, you lot must be having a great night.

What a performance from blues today!
I was worried having Fulham last game but we battered them 3-1 and honestly could of been far more!! We should of been 4 or 5-0 up by half time! Also well done to Bolton and unlucky Burton they gave it a good go! KRO!!

Well played Bolton, the best of a bad bunch on the day. Would have been a joke had we escaped after that shit show today (and pretty much all season). See you all again in a year.

Just wondering how you'd felt if Forest had equalised in the dying seconds? Relieved, embarrassed, highly amused to stay up with 41 points, or any combination from the above?
