We’d won four in a row before Saturday and looked like we were pulling away. But then we played like absolute dogshit and lost to a team that scored with their only two shots on goal (both excellent goals mind), so I’m not sure anymore.
It's alright, Ben Marshall will save us

Perhaps you could advise us what to expect down there seeing as you’ve had much more recent experience than we have

Not been given a penalty for hand ball and red card according to the radio. We’ve had absolutely shocker off referees this season :hb:

Shit attempts at fishing comes on guys I know we're all feeling a bit tired after Christmas but there's no need to needlessly waste bandwidth on weak shit; you know how temperamental the server is.

Us Ipswich and Bolton are dead set for going down, all 3 nowhere near good enough to stop up and ill predict at least 8 point gap between 21st and 22nd position at the end of the season.

Thankfully Ipswich haven't lost any ground and are lucky the teams just above are so poor, they'd already be dead and buried many other seasons.

At the moment I'd rate their chances of staying up higher than Notts County staying in League 2 (which admittedly isn't saying much). Need to be picking up more points away to stand a chance though.

I was at Derby yesterday for our game. Thought we played quite well, apart from an awful 20 minute opening period. Second half we were on top and it was a shame that we couldn't nick a point at the end. Another positive performance and if we carry on playing like we did in the second half, things may start improving sooner rather than later.

Bolton have just lost a tough game with WBA 2-0.

Realistically it's four teams for three places, can't see anyone else getting dragged in. It's true that Wigan and Millwall are close-ish, but Wigan are solid enough at home and will be keen to avoid getting relegated from this division a third time in five seasons, and Millwall have generally improved of late despite a blip in their last couple of games. Can't see any surprise team from midtable getting sucked in either.

It will be a pretty remarkable feat for Rotherham if they stay up, given how appalling they were last time they were at this level just two years ago and before bouncing back straight back up, they still haven't been in the relegation zone. Paul Warne should get manager of the season if he achieves that, but it's more likely it will go to Marcelo Bielsa or Daniel Farke should Leeds or Norwich go up.

As for Bolton, how secure is Phil Parkinson's job there? (I haven't seen any Bolton fans here for some time.) They looked to have much improved upon their first season back in the Championship at the start of this one but since September their form has been worse than Ipswich's. There were fans wanting him to go even after his side's spirited showing against Forest on the final day of last season to avoid relegation. Are finances so tight that realistically few if any managers can do better?

They can’t afford to sack Parky so the only way he goes is if he resigns.

Reading and Rotherham can easily overtake us. FOUR points away from home all season and still to play both of those away. We’re bang in the s**te if any of the bottom lot ever fancy winning a game or two.

That in one. We'd have sacked him in October if we had the chance

Getting Marshall back and having an in-form Ben Thompson back from Portsmouth is potentially big for us. The performance against Boro was leagues better than the shit we served up against Blackburn because we had no choice but to play football with Elliot out and Morison unable to play 90 mins.

Shame he got any minutes, you probably would have won.

Think we may now stay up, as performances have improved and we have now brought in some additions. Not that I think we deserve to stay up. It'll be more down to the bottom three being utter rubbish.

Looking at what the club's down there have done this window, I'd fancy Reading to survive with Rotherham taking the final relegation spot. The teams down there are so awful again this year that I can't see anyone above Millwall getting dragged into it.

Once again other team gets the 50/50 decisions and believe at or not, another penalty for them.

We’ve had 1 in over 70 games. The new Leeds?
