We seem to be a tv favourite, by the end of november we have been televised 3 times this season already, Posh away, and now the FA cup at Eastleigh then we have Charlton at home a week later. We usually have at least one match a season televised.
How do other clubs fare on tv coverage?, do you think that your club is getting its fair share of TV time?

We're usually not on very often, though the last couple of seasons we've been on a lot more as we have the derbies against QPR and Fulham (usually one of each is shown), and generally the exposure in the Championship is higher.

When we were in League 1 we'd maybe be on once or twice a season, but usually only if Sky needed a game at short notice as our ground is about a mile away from their studios.

Bolton in December will be our second league game of the season on tv, although the probably replay with Brackley in the FA Cup is likely to be on BT sport again. Yes I'm confident about that one.

For example, a Friday night fixture against us in Jan14 (which we lost surprisingly)

The television companies seem to have forgotten where Scunthorpe is!! We were on tv against Worcester in the Cup early last season - it was because they were non league rather than because it was Scunny - and haven't been on at all so far this season

BT Sport loved us when we were in the Conference and we were on several times that season - must have been 7+ times including the play-offs.

In the FL, though, we are rarely televised. Our home game with Oxford was shown last season but it was on a Sunday during an international break.

We've had four so far with a few more scheduled over the Xmas period (Sheff Wed & Blackburn). Pretty much as I expected if I'm honest.

About 3/4 times a season on berate, however we haven't been selected so far this season.

Given clubs no longer receive a payout from SKY per game, I'm not really fussed either way if we televised or not.

We were on 7-8 times the other year!

Of which probably 80% were probably cup games that's just the luck of the cup draw. Doubt anyone in this league gets 4 league games on, we will this year but definitely haven't previously

Luck of the cup draw?

Yeah, we were pretty lucky to beat Wigan, Arsenal, Villa over two legs and draw Swansea In a final - not to mention dicking Chelsea and Sunderland.

Anyway, league games, 3/4 per season.

TIT!

At what point did I mention the results. A lower league club vs a premier league club is what generally gets the TV coverage. Name the 4 league games you've been on every year and I'll admit I'm wrong. And once again you start with the insults on the Internet yet when offered the opportunity to say it face to face you shit you're fucking pants.

Not very often in the league. We were on once last season iirc (0-0 draw away at burton). Don't think we were on the season before that.

So, based on your ideology, we're blessed with being selected for televised fixtures because of the opposition? Okay, so how do we reap such reward of facing a more prestigious club in a cup competition? You guessed it, by fucking beating them....AKA results.

You're such a little jeb end - you would run a mile if you saw me haha!

I made you the offer on Saturday. You didn't take it up. People that abuse on the Internet are absolutely pathetic human beings.

It was a fair point, but very badly worded. We seem to average about 1 1/2 games per year on Sky.

To be shown more, you have to....
1) Have a good FA/League Cup run
2) Make the playoffs
3) Draw a non league side in the early rounds of the FA Cup and
4) Draw Manchester United in any competition they enter

And people who 'offer people out' on the internet, aren't?

You see, we're not to dissimilar me and you, except I'm far fucking smarter and ruthless when I want to be.

If I wasn't abused by someone hiding behind a keyboard I'd make no such offer, I have no issue with anyone else on this forum , there is stuff I disagree and have different opinions but not one other person starts with abusive comments. You make abusive comments I offered to settle the score and you didn't want to know so if you can't back up your words you type then don't say fuck all. Anyway I'm waiting for a list of your 4 league games on tv in the last 5 years.

You're beginning to come across as an egotistical, obnoxious bastard Firthy. Doesn't reflect on you well.

There's always one isn't there? A new version of SERNWA perhaps?

We're never really on.

Last time was Chelsea away last season in the FA Cup and the last time in the league was Fleetwood in the 2013/14 season. If we keep playing the way we are we'll surely be on sometime after christmas.

So because I defend myself against plantpots like you, and resort to insults, much like you do yourself, you condone personal meets to show how big you are.

Have you any idea how stupid you look? I say that, as I probably look just as stupid as you, however, I'm not the one attempting to justify my actions based on believing this nonsensical rubbish on hiding behind a fucking keyboard. Truth is, I'm not who you think I am - and I certainly do not need to back up my words! But feel free to continue this discussion in PM if you'd like.

4 league games in the league on TV in the last 5 years? Easy! Off the top off my head;

Burton home 2013
Burton away 2013
Northampton 2013
Tranmere home 2013
Coventry home 2013
Rotherham away 2014
Barnsley away 2014
Sheff Utd home 2014
MK Dons Home 2015
Sheff Utd home 2015
Millwall home 2016
Millwall away 2016

And just to throw a few televised cup games in too;

Arsenal home 2012
Aston Villa home 2012
Aston Villa away 2013
Swansea 2013
Leeds United home 2014
Halifax away 2014
Dartford home 2014
Sunderland home 2015
Reading home 2015
Reading away 2015
Aldershot home 2015
Not sure if the Chesham game was televised or not?

So that's 23 games, that enough for you big lad?
