Gonna be a money thing aint it?
Ozil got a major wage deal which you'd presume is something Ramsey is aiming for but Arsenal likely won't repeat, especially with a new manager in who may prefer to put that investment elsewhere.
Then it becomes a matter of pride. Other big clubs may not offer what he wants either but it saves face than taking the shaft at Arsenal.

Chelsea were linked with him quite heavily over the summer weren’t they?

We are apparently considering making a move for Zlatan in January.

Sources close to the club say we'll make a bid for Divock Origi in Jan. We enquired in the summer but Liverpool were only interested in a permanent transfer.

Ramsey signing for Bayern when his contract runs out. Walesonline just today said Cardiff should go in for him.

That column by Nathan Blake is probably the most deluded thing I've ever read

No doubt someone like Dean Saunders suggests he should ignore Bayern and sign for Swansea.

Liverpool are preparing a £40m bid for AC Milan winger Suso according to Liga Financial, less than four years since he left Anfield for Italy for just £1m in 2015.

Yes please and I was against letting him go in the first place. Way back when Rodgers was new we played a 4-3-3, having Suso and Sterling flanking Suarez. He did not look out of place at all and I'm still unsure why we just let him go.

Na, we've moved on from Suso; much as I like him. Klopp will look for someone more direct, if indeed he's looking at all this season.

Sorry. Just wanted this thread to seem less embarrassing and I couldn't find any tumbleweed emojis.

I'm sure the timing of us meeting them tomorrow night isn't at all coincidental.

That said I've no idea how we'd handle any big money approach, it's not something we're particularly well versed in. It'd somewhat smash the previous big sale of Ritchie to Newcastle.

Yeah I was thinking that. Probably better off staying at Bournemouth. I know Chelsea aren't particularly well stocked for strikers, but I can't help shake the feeling he would end up getting limited game time for three or four years before moving on.

West Ham sign Nasri - might be useful if he gets fit and plays.

Ramsey is going to talk with PSG/Juve/Inter/Bayern and Real Madrid....

Nice choice - does he go for the money or playing time?

He'll get decent money if he goes to any of those sides and his playing time will be hampered by his own susceptibility to injury so it doesn't really matter.

Steven Davis going back to Rangers.

Best of luck to him, a top professional and overall a great signing for the £500,000 we paid.

Not really cut it at this level just yet as he? Only young still mind. But having seen him a few times between Swansea and England U21, and on TV Championship games, it'd seem a right gamble for me. And that's if he plays regularly, sitting on your bench won't do him much good either!

Part of me just wants to sign him for the meltdown on the Villa forum. Most of them think their season is over if he goes

I bet he would have scored more than Morata given the chance.

Nathaniel Clyne expected to join on loan for the rest of the season.

Given we have no right back fit currently, and are conceding more goals than you can shake a stick at, a steady and experienced full back like him is a god send.

Jermain Defoe is joining Rangers on an 18 month loan deal which see's out his contract with us. Not happy with his role here morphing into one of a role model / unofficial forwards coach, and occasional substitute for us, he wants to start more games and will presumably do so up there. Fair enough really and good luck to him.
