Of course they're not.... that's the kind of question us Deb'n folk would expect from the likes of someone much further north...isn't it b2tf?
All I know is when I asked for a Cornish pasty in Torquay in 1985, everyone pretended they'd never heard of it.......... "we can give you a DEVON pasty:dk:?"...... btw it's "B2TF" to you.

Why on earth would you ask for a Cornish pasty in Deb'n? ....that's like crossing the border and asking for a Deb'n cream tea.... you northern folk sure are weird Mr BFT2!

Why would anyone want a Devon cream tea anyway? What kind of madman puts the cream on the scone before the jam?

I would; I don't like jam all that much so usually I put the cream on first and then decide whether to put the jam on the scone. Most times I end up leaving the jam off.

I get the feeling this is going to come as a surprise to you, but no one in the North, and I suspect no-one outside of Devon, has ever heard of a Devon pasty. Cornish pastys are ubiquitous and known all over Britain. Sorry. :dk:

Day 19 of being managerless.

Yet other teams have sacked and brought new bosses in in that time. Clearly they weren't doing "the proper process".

No new manager until they have saved enough money to cover the compensation they've had to pay out would be my guess

Bizarre structure if so. Whenever a club sacks a manager they have to expect a hit financially.

Over 3 weeks now. More and more of the shortlist seem to be rejecting us/going elsewhere. We'll end up with Herrera until Christmas, probably with Harrop and Gowling alongside him.

Cue bottom of the league for months, attendances fall to 3 figures while old Clarkey boy rubs his hands in glee at his plan coming along just as he had hoped.

And then our team bus gets burned down last night.

Probably take us three years to get a new one judging by this managerial farce.

At least you're red hot at something.
Did it need an expensive repair I wonder ;)

No way!

So it's a good time to play you, would you say?

Graham Westley now being rumoured.

Would probably aid the speed that we go bust.

We're going down the 'proper process' route as well. Even advertised it on twitter and received hundreds of football manager cv's in.

Including a no mark called Higgins from Helsby who is currently coaching a woman's team in US and has been made favourite. Marcus Bignot would appear to be the fan's preferred choice.

People seemed a bit bemused when we properly advertised our managers job after Morrell left. Radio 5 had an item on it and everything. But the applications arrived by the truck load. From the editor of Kerrang magazine to joke candidates such as Gary Brabin.

Of course they were all left in the dust by Kevin Wilkin's legendary PowerPoint presentation to the interview panel and the rest is history.

It does seem to look like it's going to be Westley.

To me, it wreaks of vultures circling a wounded animal. He's aided a liquidation before..

Leave Kevin Wilkin alone - he's ace. Your loss, our gain.

Why Bignot? He didn't do much until he suddenly got the funds to buy half the Kidderminster team and then took Solihull up. Okay, he did take them up, but even a scrap metal salesman like Glenn Tamplin can manage a promotion with enough money. Sacked from Grimsby and not popular with players. Don't understand why he's suddenly a 'name' in non-league management circles.
