It would be typical Cambridge to go from beating high flying Exeter 4-0 and then dropping points to a team who just got smashed 4-0 themselves.

Indeed it would and Grimsby won't be a pushover. Looking at their away form it's not too bad and can score goals. Going for a score draw here. 1-1.

Colchester at home, dangerous. They've lost back to back games, but beating Swindon 3-0 at the County Ground a few weeks ago puts me on edge.

I'd like to think we can win, but another game unbeaten will do me.

Bradford Away, probably our dullest fixture of the season as we've played them 8000 times in the past 15 seasons and they are probably the best in the league so going to be very tough.
I mean, you can only laugh can’t you

The Vale fan will probably get his wish tonight mind you and we will be removed from the top of the table. I’ve seen us lose far too many Tuesday night home games to a team we should be beating, it’s nailed on that we put in an abject performance and send the Colchester fans home happy.

Not sure I get the issue? So Bradford won't be tough? I hope we can get a result but the quality Bradford process in abundance means it will be extremely difficult.

I've got a bad feeling about tonight, the crowd will be expectant and we usually slip up when that's the case. Abit like when we played Cambridge at home after winning some tougher games on paper.

We've generally looked very solid defensively but have been struggling for goals this season. I'd imagine we would need a clean sheet tonight if we were going to win the game.

How is Jevani Brown getting on?

How is Jevani Brown getting on?

Sometimes on the bench, sometimes not even making it that far. I think he's shown glimpses of what he would be capable of, but hasn't really fit into the system when he's played so far. Unless we can fit him in/mould the set up around him more then he may well be a very expensive flop.

Plus there was that penalty against Tottenham which didn't help his cause - he was already being heavily criticised and then he nearly cost us the game in that manner...

Mad that we can go top tonight (depending on Crewe obviously) without once playing really well all season, I don’t think anyone would say we’re the best they’ve played.
Could be struggling with injuries though tonight, Connoly, Pritchard, Donaldson, Devitt and Palmer all short/long term injured, the last three out long term.
Still, would hopefully have enough to win, Vaughan could do with pulling his finger out of his arse and start playing rather than spending 90 mins on the floor with his arms out stretched. Did I read Will Atkinson played at rb on Saturday? That would be ideal if Connoly did play, or Ismael, both too good for a make shift full back.

He played Right Back Saturday but will likely make way for the return of James Gibbons who is our natural right back, Atkinson may move central midfield if we drop Amoo or Monty.

Should be looking to beat Salford tonight - back of 7 points from 9 which is promising.

To do so dempster shouldn’t replicate his formation of the first half against FG and should start cook (on the assumption rose is still injured)

Wouldn’t be surprised to see CJ dropped tonight who has produced the sum of fuck all lately.

Did you not see the bit he bolded?

You stated Bradford are the best team in the league. Despite the fact we are 2 points ahead of them, are top and have already beaten them this season. Ok, after tonight it could be them on top, but stating they are the best team does feel a little odd.

Titles are not won in October, but they are the best squad surely? They have depth and quality no one else has, take it this way if Crewe (or Vale or anyone else) lose 3-4 key players it would likely see a struggle for results, Bradford can lose Donaldson and still have Vaughan.

Not a dig at Crewe or anyone else but overall Bradford are the best set of players and if Crewe or any other side win the league ahead of them then deserve huge credit.

Not everything is said with Crewe in mind so no need for the tetchyness from your fellow supporter. You’ve done well and are a good example for teams like Vale who are probably 12 months behind in trying to turn around years of mismanagement.

Interesting line up, weak link Crookes is ill so looks like Monty in there who’s at least got pace, he was superb there under Aspin the season before last.

No Atkinson either is a surprise.

Well it means more to you than us... as we know. We’ve got bigger fish to laugh at the opposite way down the A500.

Plymouth 2 up, bunch of fucking cheats. They literally tried to punch the ball into the net. Blatant handball, not given, then they slam it in.

Absolute disgrace.
