I have posts by MatchedBets.com on ignore as I have no interest in betting at all. However their posts appear as last posted in the sub section.

Surely, if a poster is ignored, their posts shouldn't be visible at all.

That's just the way Xenforo, the forum system we use, is coded. Can't be changed with significant modification to core code, sorry.

It's working as it's intended as it clearly states 'ignored member' as the user for you- but the forum software is not going to pull a new latest thread to display on the forums index home just for you. It's not built like that.

Okay, fair enough.

I now have another issue and it seems pointless opening another thread. I'm on another pc today - win 7 using chrome. I went to mark L1 as read but when I hovered my mouse over "mark forums read" I got a betting pop-up.

I'm really not trying to cause trouble, this is a PITA.

Far as I can tell from trying to replicate it, the width your Chrome window is at just the right width to screw with the table that sets out those buttons, so that the ad drops down when your mouse is near that button. Any wider and it wouldn't happen:

Any narrower and the 'mark forums read' option would be truncated into a drop down you can select no problem:

But you've unfortunately managed to size your window into exactly a width that breaks the table code. Or perhaps the PC screen resolution is unusually low?

Righto. The pc is plugged into a widescreen tv and set up for OH's old games. I'll try narrowing the browser screen if I need to use that pc again.

Thanks.
