Someone unexpected/unglamorous will get promoted - Newport??

Someone with a long and respectable FL history will get relegated. Hopefully not Bury or Oldham, but the latter in particular need some new recruits...

Dino Maamria will endear himself to the rest of the division with his Raynor-esque antics.
David Flitcroft will alienate every single Mansfield Town fan and player but Carolyn Brexit Radford.
Morecambe vs Yeovil will attract an attendance so low that it might be the first ever negative attendance in footballing history.

Port Vale may be mildly competent unlike last year

Crewe fans will continue to bury their head in the sand as more sordid revelations about their club come to the surface

Oldham will still be shit in league 2 and will appoint John Sheridan in March to keep them in the league

Mansfield continue to spend money they haven’t got and can’t justify

Notts County will be favourites but will collapse in the spring and just scrape into the playoffs

Morecambe will regularly get 3 figure gates yet just stay up

Mansfield will remain unbeaten versus their big brother, and will invite friends to their annual big day out.

Vale will once again cause trouble and cause damage at a couple of ‘big’ L2 games, make national newspapers and then will claim they aren’t worse than any other club, all clubs have idiots and that the club have done all they can to prevent it.

Grimsby fans will post more about Lincoln affairs than their own. Obvious I know but oh so true.

Swindon fans will still talk about Flipflop in not so glowing terms all season
Which will distract them from the goings on at the County Ground.

Some (idiot) Notts fans will turn on Nolan during a bad month results wise.

The sensitive young Imps will no doubt go on and on about bad luck, or more likely some single decision in one match in September and will not stop referring to it and how they were so wronged for at least 4 months! This would of come and gone with little fuss for any other set of fans on here

Cambridge will be Cambridge and Colchester will be very much Colchester and neither will trouble the top 3 come the business end of the season.

Bury fans will be a good addition to this forum, Oldham fans probably won’t. And i’ll only Remember Northampton are in this league when we play them and never at any other time

I wonder if the 13/14 1FF rivalry between Mansfield and Bury will return, unlikely now a few posters have moved on since. That was a great time.

AdamStag is still here though, he lives in Manchester didn’t you know.

That was hardly a rivalry, not compared to everybody in the conference vs Mansfield during the YEAR OF THE STAG.

Only thing about not being a tinpot non-league side is you end up in a better league but a poorer forum section.

Mansfield do have the money though, I’m not going to try and justify it mind ;)

It was a fun competitive ‘rivalry’ of sorts, only within the walls of TFF.

Until we played you off the field at the Mill and won 4-1.

It started off in a cold night in November/December 2013... a dire game at Gigg Lane between the Stags and the Shakers... 0-0.

Bury and Mansfield fans cry foul, Mansfield a bunch of thugs, Bury a set of hopeless relegation bound cloggers. Dempster getting a straight red for a terrible challenge iirc. Mansfield at the time were in and around the play-offs, Bury were near the relegation zone at the time.

Anyway, many swipes at both clubs from both sets of supporters ensue in the match thread and beyond, until the big night in February. In the build up Bury had improved massively under then new manager David Flitcroft, whilst Dinosaur Paul Cox was being outed as a fraud.

AdamStag must have cried himself to sleep that night as we blow the Stags away with a convincing 4-1 victory.

Bury will be the subject of seven separate winding-up orders
Everyone in the national press will forget about Lincoln
Notts will sign a forty-five year old who played six games in the top-flight in 1994
Leeds United will poach someone's manager
Everyone's games will be called off in January
MK fans will start calling for Tisdale's head
Yeovil will finish a game with eight men
Leeds United will poach someone else's manager
Exeter will finish their stadium
The Carlisle scoreboard will start working for two or three matches
Carver will be banned from the forum for a month
Someone will get sacked after being beaten by Cambridge

Said WUP will be dismissed as 'just business' by our board who will pay them at the last minute.

My main prediction is that UTS and Burbery will mentally combust if Bury are not top of the table by September.
This will lead to myself, Keith and co having to apologise and plead with other posters not to generalise Bury fans based on them. :fl:

John-Joe O'Toole scores at least 10 from CM, gets at least the same number of yellows and 2 reds. Every team we face says hes terrible and that he wouldnt get in their team despite being one of the best midfielders in the division.

As proved in this thread alone without lots of the other threads, Grimsby fans just cannot resist posting stuff about their superior (at this moment in time off the pitch and on the pitch last season at least).

They don't see us as rivals though........allegedly, yeah right. :bg:

We don't say that (as you well know), Lincoln fans used to say that when we used to beat you all the time as a way of softening the blow, and as an excuse for barely half filling the away end at Blundell Park.
Then Grimsby have a really shit season and Lincoln have a good one and suddenly, amazingly, they started seeing Grimsby as rivals again, how strange eh?! :2thumb:

I post replies to Lincoln related stuff, 109 posts since 2012. :hypo:. We have some very decent opposition fans posting on our boards. It's very different to the obsession with Lincoln on here from many Grimsbyites.

One of those seasons we weren't in the same league so over 20 posts a season on our message board when we only play each twice is quite a lot for someone who isn't obsessed

Calls of Nolan out will be had by Christmas.

Flitcroft is sacked after a run of two deafeats

Cowley’s eventually explode after too much time in the sun beds and teeth whitening parlour. Lincoln fans then implode when they realise this is just a ruse and they get the Peterborough job

Newport’s pitch will be unplayable after the first game of the season

Me? I've never said we are going to be anywhere near the top. I'd be very happy with some mid table stability after last season. I predicted 18th a month or so back.

You two are a pair of bad nonces.

Well I do know what it means, and someone who masquerades as a former Bury manager I think you’re definitely one of them.
