Number 11 for Nadal and probably many more to come!

Probably hasn't been such dominance for one event in sport...ever.

Heard Andy was very good, great to see him get his first win in a year and against an old (albeit ailing) foe too. He might be a bit tired and sore yet so Edmund will be another tough match too. Just one match at a time, though these last two comeback matches have shown great promise so far.

Yeah I was surprised to see him at his conference yesterday there, I thought he'd announce it sooner. It has come too early; even the US Open might be a bit much this year.

Good day for Stan Wawrinka and his partner - both knocked out high seeds.

He could be a dangerous floater in the draw if fully fit .

To think that Djok used to take the piss out of Nadal about his weird OCD shit prior to serving. What the fuck is going on with that bounce shit he's now doing? Sort it out for fuck sake.

Serena Williams being seeded was a piss take. The woman who lost out thanks to that money driven bullshit has every right to be fucked off.

Can she still move these days, what is she 36 now? Seems to be getting bigger and bigger too. Going to be huge when she quits.

Listening to Andy Murray being interviewed in the pundits studio thingy by Sue Barker & Tim Henman.....Is Murray really Scottish or is he deliberately losing his accent....sounds like a hybrid ...not sure from what though.

Na he's not losing it, though tennis players do have this funny way they say 'matches' I notice.

Its embarrassing for the womens' game that 36 year old Serena Williams, back after pregnancy, can't move, and yet will still win this tournament. Where are the Henin's these days?

I can't believe that, one of the best comebacks of all time. Match point down and 2-0 down to Federer at Wimbledon and you win? Absolute madness.

I thought Fed would win it blindfolded this year to be honest.

Get the fuck in - only thing is, that wank Nadal will probably win it now. 'Mon Delpo!
Couple of points re Nadal....

1) He's starting to sound like the whinger/grunter Sharapova when he's playing and....
2) He definitely has to buy bigger size kecks going by all the pulling and poking he does at his arse.

Haven't watched him in years due to all that, and the fact he takes forever to even serve. Fluked it tonight again I see, bah.

Serious question......I've noticed for a few years now....while watching doubles matches (I've been watching mixed doubles laterally this afternoon) when the players talk to each other between points they cover their mouths. Is there any practical reason for this cos for the life of me I can't work this out! I'm presuming it is not to allow their utterances be 'understood'....but by whom ? Just wondering.

To keep things secret like in football when they do it - from anyone who can lip read I guess?!

There is going to be British interest on finals weekend with Dart and Clarke facing Murray and Azarenka in the Mixed Doubles semi finals .

That had crossed my mind but WHY ? I'm presuming they're only going to be talking about shots/tactics etc and I can't see any way that such detailed communication could be passed on by rival coaches in order that it may influence the match.
