You would think the other 22 visiting teams didn’t have to play on it.

They played on our lush pitch last week and got played off the park.

Hands up you did........ How did your follow up to that game go when the pressure started to build for the first time

Not sure how we’ve ever been under pressure being 4th favourites for second place, just played poorly and got beaten by another in form team.

Nice effort, Pilgrims. Barnsley 3-up after 30 minutes. No contest.

This is probably the best I’ve seen us play all season. An absolute pleasure to watch so far. Almost feel sorry for the Plymouth fans.

So a game petering out for a 0-0 draw and then once again Sunderland get a goal in the last few minutes to go 1-0 up.

How many late winners have Barnsley, Sunderland and Portsmouth had between them this season?

Edit: Peteborough equalise through Matt Godden!

I've been going to games for over 20 years. This is easily the most exciting season my team has ever come across for a promotion race.

Stolen from the Luton forum...

After what seems like a disappointing set of results at first glance, the odds are virtually the same as before today - 99% for auto-promotion (unchanged) and 93% for the title (up from 92% before today).

In terms of the race for the second place, Barnsley are now, for the first time this season, more likely than not to be auto-promoted (56%). Portsmouth are 33% and Sunderland's hopes have taken a big hit, now just 13% for auto-promotion. Their chances of winning the league are now <1% for the first time this season.

Expected points finishes are as follows:

Luton 96
Barnsley 92
Pompey 91
Sunderland 89

Funny, for months Barnsley have been looking for the Sunderland score hoping they’ve lost. Will be the complete opposite next weekend.

We've scored a solitary last minute goal, at Walsall, which has been of any significance this season. Pompey and Sunderland seem to score one every other game.

Professional job today on Muff, still not in our hands but hopefully the Marras will do us a favour vs Pompey.

I've just looked up our late "significant" goals:

-86th min equaliser v Blackpool
-The Moncur free kick v Portsmouth

That is it in 2019. The other late goals we've scored is when we've already been (well) ahead.

Thank fuck for that late Peterborough goal, finally someone in the chasing pack dropped points. The way things were going I was starting to think that the Sunderland v Portsmouth game next Saturday would somehow end with both winning!

The top four in this division are absolutely ridiculous, just look at League 2 where Lincoln have clinched the title today with a measly 85 points. Every chance of four teams getting over 90 and at least one of us will miss out on promotion altogether.

If Doncaster and the other club are expecting easy games they have another thing coming. Another game coming from behind with ten men to win.

It's a mammoth race! I'm not sure how we ground out both wins this weekend but somehow we clawed our way through them, it's a sign of how determined our team is - they have a bloody brilliant mentality which makes up for any lack of quality.

I think it's Barnsley's to lose, I just really struggle to see us getting a win against Sunderland for a third time this season, especially with it being at the SoL.

It's strange feeling like we're still the underdogs despite being the only team that has it completely in our hands - Saturday's gonna be a big un.

Absolute men vs boys yesterday. Shows just how far off it we are. Very worried! Barnsley should go up, best I’ve seen this season.

This season is a bit of a freak one, really. There are five pretty good teams at the top (although admittedly we're more in the effective/ugly bracket), who would possibly already be celebrating promotion in normal circumstances. Lincoln were promoted from League Two back on the 13th April with 84 points! They'll be five teams in League One beating that mark comfortably.

We only really lost Charlton from the auto picture over the Easter weekend. If Sunderland turn us over on Saturday then they are only one Barnsley slip-up away from promotion, so they're definitely still in the hunt.

The race for 6th could be one with us playing Donny on the last day. Fancy Peterborough for it based on fixtures.
