Oh my god. The quality is so atrocious. Is it the same for everyone else? It's in a weird square ratio, top and bottom cut off and there doesn't seem to be an HD channel. Absolute shambles.

I was going to record the Sky one instead, then I found out that David Prutton is on that one so I passed.

Better to record it and fast forward all the talking. Tonight, they managed to show highlights of two games in the first 30 minutes.

Quest have stated on Twitter that they are aware of the problem. Hopefully this is rectified for the next round of games, because that was bloody awful tonight.

Sitting around for an hour waiting for the 20 seconds of grainy quality footage with commentary provided by a medical vegetable, doesn't exactly sounds appealing. I don't give a fuck that Rovrum or Scunthorpe or fucking Forfar got battered, or that will griggs on fire. Complete waste of time.

It's like the previous programme on 5. Quite good if you're interested in the Championship or Sunderland, pretty average for the rest of the clubs in Leagues One and Two.

Why is the programme even needed? All the goals are on the Internet on sky sports site not long after the games.

Must admit I do feel they rather rush the ending for you guys - but then think that is the same for MOTD when us smaller clubs come on as the last few games.

No fancy fan videos yet...that take ups even more time.

The production quality was absolutely dreadful, really quite embarrassing for them and the EFL. The fact the National League has better media coverage than the bloody Football League is an absolute shambles really.

Had a faint hope they might take their time a bit more on a lesser known channel, because really what the fuck is on Quest that’s so important that you need to rush the programme for, but it was just as bad if not worse

Very poor and noticed a lot of cameras had changed position at various grounds , that could be a general thing not down to Quest though.
The only solace I took was that the dreadful Caroline Barker was not on the show

If you can be arsed clicking every single match, which I can't. I like the brief highlights and quick whip through of the goals because I can just sit there and not have to do anything.

Seems fair, I ain't arsed in watching anyone else though, it's bad enough watching ours! Anything else worth watching will be shared around anyhow

If you want to just watch a few of the matches, Just download the sky sports score center app. At 9 pm they put match highlights for each game on the match tabs. Can be a bit annoying if you want to watch loads of highlights because of the ads though.

This. I like having a highlight show on television that I can either record or watch live with a few beers.

Also I enjoy watching all the other teams too, be it a local rival getting battered or just Danny Rose being Danny Rose.

That's why I prefer the TV show.

Once you've skipped through all the talking, you can watch it in about 45 minutes.

It annoys me they spend so long showing the games that have already featured live on Sky.

As was mentioned above its infuriating that there is better coverage of non league then there is leagues 1 and 2, cant see that changing any time soon unfortunately.

The iFollow highlights are basically what we got for free on our clubs YouTube last year. Shame we have to pay £45 for that.

Do the “live” streamed games have commentary? £10 a lot to watch in silence

Agree with your first point 100%. They take up to ten minutes of an hour long program on games that have already been televised.

Usually record it so I skip the first part but it's annoying when the rest of the games are so condensed.

A mate of mine moved abroad this season and watched our opener on Ifollow, he said it had radio Northampton commentary (silence may not be the worst thing).

I got shot down before for saying this, but Sky having L1 and L2 is a total joke. Let them have the Championship so that they can show Forest v Derby and the Brum derby and Leeds a few times but having the other two divisions is utterly pointless. BT do a great job with the Conference, comparatively.

I agree with a lot of comments, particularly about how much time is taken up by the opinion of an ex player.
I don't agree with the previous poster about Sky televising L1 and L2 , I would imagine that if they didn't have this facility they wouldn't put any cash into the clubs in those divisions which would certainly not help those clubs finances.

How many L2 games were televised last season? I remember Chesterfield v Notts towards the end of the season, but that's about it off the top of my head. To be honest, I'd rather the clubs take a bit less money from a network that is prepared to actually do a decent job of broadcasting lower league football. Sky are a horrible stain on football.

I watched it on the app and it wasn't too bad but 5 did a much better job of it. It's almost like a different show once they get onto League 1 and 2 after banging on about the Championship for an hour.

As said above Sky are a stain on English football and they will never care about anything other than the premiership. The few EFL games they show will be 95% championship.

That said apparently on Saturday the BBC sport headlines were all the premiership friendly results and none of the EFL results so they are no better.

Unfortunately just like the check a joke trophy, money talks and the clubs would rather have money and no TV time than no money and TV time.

That's the most disappointing part of it. The clubs we support (generally) don't care enough. That feeble buckling that happened when EPPP was rolled out and the clubs essentially let themselves get blackmailed without putting up a fight was a huge nail in the coffin for smaller clubs. Fair play to those handful of clubs that stood up and voted against it (I think Cambridge and Luton might have done so), but the rest of our clubs should be hanging their heads in shame.

They often show League Two games on the international breaks. There is one in September but they are showing Oxford v Coventry.
I doubt they will show many in League Two as there are fewer 'big' clubs like Coventry or Portsmouth this season, and they always like an angle. I suspect they would prefer to show Joey Bartons Fleetwood (TM) over any League Two side this year.
