Looking forward to going to Macclesfield again after a few years away, usually a good away day. We've sold the 700 tickets given to us, so would expect a 1,000 + away following.

Hopefully we can build on a couple of decent-ish draws with a win here. If we do, i would be very happy with our start.

I'm coming on the train, any pubs to recommend Macc fans? We're staying for a bit after (think the train back is 8ish) so would like to know where's best to go after aswell if you can help.

About 6 pubs within a few minutes walk of the station ,Waters Green Tavern has a choice of real ale I believe, and Nags Head live music but possibly starts a bit after 8.
On way to ground there is The Macc and if you turn left at the next set of lights Railway View

Undefeated so far but anything less than a win on Saturday and personally I would be ever so slightly disappointed with our start. If we didn't concede that silly last second goal against Colchester I would probably feel different mind.

We'll probably lose this seeing as Mansfield are pretty decent but it would be nice if we can build on Tuesday's improved performance and get something from this. Now that our defence looks a bit steadier and some of the worse players are now on the bench we shouldn't be shipping goals quite like we did last weekend anyway. In Yates we trust eh....

We do have quite a history of losing to sides on winless/terrible runs, and flitcrofts win percentage is about 15% since he took over - ive only seen him win once in 10 games so maybe it’s my fault haha - though that was a 1-0 win at chesterfield.

Really concerned defensively, Preston is still out due to a concussion which is a big concern considering it's been 3/4 games now. Haydn White is also out due to a 'knock'

League debut for young lad (18) Gibbens, and not one defender on the bench. It's ridiculous how with our budget we have no back-up in defence - 4 CBs are injured!!!
