Per qualche dollaro in più (For a Few Dollars More) (1965)

Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef hunt the same gang of outlaws.

8/10

Keoma (1976)

A "half-breed" gunfighter fights his confederate brothers, a tyrannical leader and the plague that is ravaging his hometown.

This one was great. Ridiculous soundtrack, slow-mo replays of bodies flying through the air.

9/10

Escape from New York (1981)

A brief break from spaghetti westerns but not Lee Van Cleef. Cheesy but cool.

8/10.

Da uomo a uomo (Death Rides a Horse) (1967)

A young gunfighter chases down the gang of outlaws that killed his family.

Lee Van Cleef is also in this one.

Excellent.

9/10

Blindman (1971)

A blind gunfighter chases a "delivery" of fifty mail-order brides that was intercepted by bandits.

Crazy concept in a film starring RIngo Starr.

8/10

Django il bastardo (Django the Bastard) (1969)

Strange, horror-flavoured spaghetti western featuring a gunfighter seeking revenge from beyond the grave.

7/10

A guid dram
Can't tell you how many times I've seen the Clint Eastwood/Leone westerns, I used to watch about 3 or 4 a week when I was a kid, I never tired of them.

Same with Escape From New York as well; I had it on VHS and watched it endlessly because Lee Van Cleef again, Kurt Russell being cool as fuck as Snake, and that big chesty woman that tagged along in that film! :D

The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas (2008)
A touching film about the friendship of two 8 year old boys one the son of a Nazi concentration camp commander the other a jew a prisoner in the camp. Alas the ending was ridiculous and let the film down which was a shame. 7.5/10.

Alexander (2004)
Apart from the bloody battles this was a boring film and Colin Farrell as Alexander was a joke. 5/10 just for the battle scenes.

Anti Social (2015)
I assume that this was a low budget film, the film had the lot, armed robbery, drugs, torture, rape, murder and general mayhem, the acting was B grade at best, including the part played by Meghan Markle (she who will become the latest Mrs Windsor next month) as the girlfriend of one of the gang's brothers, I can only hope that she is better as being HRH than she was as an actress.
Ps. nice legs though.

Started off well with a New York detective trying to find a nutter who tortures women live on the internet but the last 40 minutes were just weird and lost me completely.

Have you seen the sequel T2 ? Personally loved it as much as the first. Funny as fuck.

The second one was great, yeah.

I preferred it to the first one, which I also enjoyed.

In between watching the first and second I had read all of the books so maybe that helped me to enjoy it that little bit more than the original.

It was very well reviewed so shouldn’t have been a surprise! Top film though. But Edgar Wright is a cracking Director.

I’m currently enjoying Captain Underpants...

Recently watched The Drop (2014) (Tom Hardy) working as a bartender in a drop bar in the shady underworld of Brooklyn bars with his cousin (James Gandolfini). Who died suddenly at the age of 51 shortly after finishing this movie. Good film 8/10.

The Girl on the Train (2016) (Emily Blunt) gives a masterful performance who plays the role of an alcoholic wife, who feels she is losing her mind, due to her cheating, aggressive and manipulating husband. As the story unfolds with other characters with troublesome backgrounds. Good film 9/10

Se sei vivo spara (Django Kill... If You Live, Shoot!) (1967)

A "half-breed" gunfighter is betrayed by his gang and left for dead after a successful robbery. He is nursed back to health by two "medicine men" before he sets out for revenge...only to find that all but one of his ex-gang members have been hung in a strange town.

I didn't enjoy this one as much as the other spaghetti westerns I've watched. It stands out as a particularly weird one, though, with some pretty psychedelic editing, a gang of gay, rapist "muchachos", some medieval-style torture scenes, a fair amount of gore, shite dialogue and a gun that fires golden bullets.

6/10

Brawl in cell block 99.

It is a brutal film, one in which you see Vince Vaughan being something more than an idiot. He gets caught running drugs and then has to do things to save his wife and unborn child. Graphic fighting scenes and you do feel for him. Good watch. 8/10.
