I raise your Liam Macleod and give you Razak Boukari. Spent 3m and (30k a week in wages) on him the year we were relegated from the PL as our star signing. 4 injury plagued years later he massed a total of 6 appearances with us before he was released.

I hear he's still finding his way to his Range Rover in the players' car park.

Paterson and Korey Smith should be back for Saturday, thank fuck. Pisano's probably a doubt but if he is in, get Wright back into the middle and we're basically at full strength for Sunderland.

Tommy Spurr (damaged medial ligament)
Ben Davies (recovering from an operation to remove his appendix)
John Welsh (unknown, he's made of glass these days)
Declan Rudd (thigh injury)

So that's 4 centre backs missing if we include the suspended Paul Huntington.

We are very lucky with injuries at the moment. Bar Ikeme and Ofosu-Ayeh (never even seen him), I don't think anyone in the first team squad is currently injured.

Would have been nice to have a certain Nathan Baker at our disposal but we fucked that right up

Yep, knew when we sold him we could be in massive trouble if Terry or Chester got a bad injury. No real quality backup, would def play Jedinak at CB. Samba is decent for a small role but as a starter I'm really not sure about him. Guess we'll find out.
