  • Ernie Ladd appeared and gave his opinion on Lawrence Taylor's chances at Wrestlemania against Bam Bam Bigelow.
  • "Double J" Jeff Jarrett agreed to a rematch and title shot for Barry Horowitz next week on RAW before Bob Backlund attacked Horowitz from behind and applying the crossface chicken wing. Backlund then signed the contract and he instead will be getting a Intercontinental title match.

1# The Headshrinkers vs. Jacob & Eli Blu (w/ Uncle Zebekiah) ended in a double DQ
(All 4 men began brawling in the ring to cause the DQ.)

2# "Double J" Jeff Jarrett (w/ The Roadie) bt. Barry Horowitz via submission in a non-title match
3# Jerry "The King" Lawler (w/ Bull Nakano) bt. Bret "Hitman" Hart via count-out

  • We saw highlights from the previous nights "March Magic" fundraiser in New York City by the Magic Johnson Foundation and Robin Hood Foundation to fight AIDS, with appearances by Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Pat Riley, WWF World Champion Diesel, Lawrence Taylor, the 1-2-3 Kid, Magic Johnson, Patrick Ewing, Razor Ramon, the Undertaker, & Paul Bearer; the fundraiser raised over $50,000.
  • It was announced that next week on RAW it will be Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart in a no holds barred match, and at the next Sunday night Slam, it will be Lex Luger vs. Tatanka in a steel cage match, Sione vs. Bam Bam Bigelow, Jeff Jarrett vs. Bob Backlund for the Intercontinental Championship and an interview with WWF Champion, Diesel.
  • We heard comments from Lex Luger and Tatanka ahead of their cage match on Sunday night Slam.
MATCH RESULTS

1# Razor Ramon bt. Henry Godwinn
(The Roadie was watching the match from the aisle, but the 1-2-3 Kid came down the aisle and and knocked him down. Post-match, Vince McMahon interviewed Razor with the Kid, Razor said he was angry that Bob Backlund was getting an Intercontinental title match before his scheduled match for the title at Wrestlemania. Razor said he was going to do something to make sure that it is he who has the title match, and not Backlund/Bret which could end up being for the title. Jim Cornette left the commentary table to prepare the Heavenly Bodies for their WWF Tag Team Championship match later tonight.)

2# King Kong Bundy (w/ Ted Dibiase) bt. Adam Kroomes & Raven Clark in a 2-on-1 Handicap match
(Steve McMichael of the Green Bay Packers was the guest commentator for the match, post-match, Kama confronted McMichael before both men got in to a shoving match before a brawl escalated.)

3# The Smoking Gunns bt. The Heavenly Bodies (w/ Jim Cornette) to retain the WWF Tag Team Championship

  • A special Olympian Kathy Huey performed "America The Beautiful" to open the show.
  • NYPD Blue's Nicholas Tuturro conducted multiple interviews throughout the night with Shawn Michaels & Psycho Sid ahead of the WWF Championship match, LT's all pro team before finding Bob Backlund playing chess with Jonathan Taylor Thomas and that Pamela Anderson had left the building after an argument with Shawn Michaels before the match.

(Post-match, Jim Ross tried to get a word from Uncle Zebekiah about the match.)

2# Razor Ramon (w/ The 1-2-3 Kid) bt. "Double J" Jeff Jarrett (w/ The Roadie) Via DQ in a WWF Intercontinental Championship match
(The Roadie clipped Razor's injured knee as Jarrett was set up for the Razor's Edge to cause the DQ. Post-match, The Kid attempted to make the save but was double teamed by Jarrett and the Roadie and Jarrett applied the figure-4-leg lock on him. Moments later, Razor cleared Jarrett and Roadie from the ring. Jim Ross then got word from Jarrett and Roadie as they made their way backstage.)

3# The Undertaker (w/ Paul Bearer) bt. King Kong Bundy (w/ Ted Dibiase)
(American League Umpire Larry Young was the official for the match. During the match, Undertaker regained possession of the urn from Dibiase and gave it to Bearer but moments later, Kama came to ringside and restole the urn. Jim Ross interviewed Kama who said he would melt down the urn.)

4# Owen Hart & Yokozuna (w/ Jim Cornette & Mr. Fuji) bt. The Smoking Gunns to become the new WWF Tag Team Champions
5# Bret "Hitman" Hart bt. Bob Backlund in an "I Quit" match
("Rowdy" Roddy Piper was the guest referee for this match, post-match, Jim Ross interviewed Backlund who claimed that he "saw the light".)

6# Diesel (w/ Pamela Anderson) bt. Shawn Michaels (w/ Psycho Sid & Jenny McCarthy) to retain the WWF Championship
(Jonathan Taylor Thomas was the guest timekeeper for the match and Nicholas Turturro was the guest ring announcer. Post-match, Jim Ross interviewed Shawn Michaels and Sid, Sid said that Michaels was not done with the WWF Champion. Diesel then got Pamela Anderson, Jenny McCarthy, Jonathan Taylor Thomas and Nicholas Turturro in to the ring to celebrate his win.)

7# Lawrence Taylor (w/ NFL All Pro team - Ken Norton Jr., Chris Spielman, Ricky Jackson, Carl Banks, Steve McMichael & Reggie White) bt. Bam Bam Bigelow (w/ Million $ Corporation - Ted Dibiase, Tatanka, King Kong Bundy, Nikolai Volkoff & Kama)
(Pat Patterson was the referee for this match. Salt n peppa performed during and after the match near the entrance way. Post-match, Jim Ross attempted to interview Bam Bam but he walked by as Dibiase was verbally berating him, meanwhile in the ring, LT was being congratulated by his All pro team and his son.)

(During the match, it was announced that it will be Owen Hart & Yokozuna vs. The Smoking Gunns for the WWF Tag Team Championship at In Your House. Post-match, Vince McMahon & Jerry Lawler spoke with Bam Bam Bigelow & Ted Dibiase backstage about Bam Bam's WWF Championship match tonight. After the commercial, Vince McMahon interviewed Diesel about the title defense.)

2# Bertha Faye (w/ Harvey Wippleman) bt. La Pantera Serena
3# Diesel bt. Bam Bam Bigelow (w/ Ted Dibiase) to retain the WWF Championship
(During the match, Tatanka tripped Bam Bam inadvertently which led to the boot and the jacknife powerbomb to get the 3. Post-match, Dibiase verbally assaulted Bam Bam in the ring before firing him from the Million $ Corporation, and slapped him in the face. Bam Bam went face to face with Dibiase until Tatanka attacked him from behind, the beast from the east soon knocked Tatanka to the floor and told Dibiase that he couldn't fire him as he quit. I.R.S and Tatanka then double teamed Bam Bam with Sid hitting him with the powerbomb, moments later, Diesel made the save by throwing Tatanka to the floor and scared the remainder of the Million $ Corporation backstage. We then saw footage later in the show of Bam Bam and Diesel shaking hands as a result.)

  • We see highlights of the controversial finish from the Intercontinental title match yesterday on the Action Zone and now the Intercontinental title has been declared vacant.
  • It was announced that In Your House it will be Bret Hart vs. Hakushi, Adam Bomb vs. Mabel in a King of the Ring Qualifying match and Razor Ramon will face Jeff Jarrett & Roadie in a handicap match due to the injury of the 1-2-3 Kid.
  • We saw a vignette promoting the debut of Hunter Hearst Helmsley.
  • Razor Ramon and Sid were set to square off but Sid ran through Razor's pyro and hit a clothesline before twice powerbombing the bad guy. Diesel came down which led to Sid and Dibiase leaving ringside.
  • Bret Hart came to ringside during the end of the show and confronted Lawler before offering to face him at In Your House.

  • We saw a vignette promoting the debut of Skip & Sunny - The Bodydonnas.
  • We saw a vignette of Bam Bam Bigelow where he discussed losing at the Royal Rumble, his loss to LT at Wrestlemania and new found friendship with Diesel. He also made comments that he will go through every member of the Million $ Corporation as payback. Vince McMahon then announced it will be Bam Bam Bigelow vs. I.R.S next week on RAW.
  • Vince McMahon conducted an in-ring interview with Sid and Ted Dibiase regarding Sid's WWF Championship match this sunday at In Your House. Dibiase admitted that it was he who told Shawn Michaels to get a bodyguard, and it was he who suggested it to Sid to show he and Sid had been working together for quite some time. He then spoke of Sid's recent attacks on Michaels and Razor.
  • Jerry Lawler announced that he would have his own mother in his corner this sunday in his match with Bret as Bret was dedicating his match with his mom.

During the match, The Roadie clipped Doink as he had the stump puller applied behind the referee's back, which led to the figure-4. Also during the match, Vince McMahon said that Bob Backlund would have a major announcement next week on RAW.)

  • Todd Pettengill & Stephanie Wiand picked one of the entries for the vacation home in Orlando, Fl and the winner was Matt Pompacilli of Henderson, NV.
MATCH RESULTS

1# Bret "Hitman" Hart bt. Hakushi (w/ Shinja)
2# Razor Ramon bt. "Double J" Jeff Jarrett & The Roadie in a 2-on-1 Handicap match
(Post-match, Razor attempted the Razor's edge on to the Roadie but Jarrett clipped him from behind. Jarrett applied the figure-4 and Aldo Montoya attempted to make the save but Roadie threw him to the ground, and unknown man then ran out and cleared both men from the ring. Later in the show, Todd Pettengill interviewed Razor and the unknown man in the WWF hotline room and Razor introduced him as his longtime friend, Savio Vega.)

3# Mabel (w/ Mo) bt. Adam Bomb in a King of the Ring Qualifying match
4# Owen Hart & Yokozuna (w/ Mr. Fuji & Jim Cornette) bt. The Smoking Gunns to retain the WWF Tag Team Championship
(Post-match, Jerry Lawler made his way out and wanted to have his match with Bret knowing that he was hurt before being sent to the back.)

5# Jerry "The King" Lawler bt. Bret "Hitman" Hart
(Before the match, Lawler introduced us to his mother, who was infact a 20-something year old model. Moments later during a backstage interview, Bret proved that his injury was fake and is ready to go. During the match, Hakushi interfered and hit 3 diving headbutts on the Hitman which led to a double leg roll by Lawler to get the 3.)

6# Diesel bt. Sid (w/ Ted Dibiase) Via DQ to retain the WWF Championship
(Diesel hit Sid with the jacknife powerbomb but the cover was broken by Tatanka which caused the match to end via DQ. Post-match, Tatanka and Dibiase assaulted the WWF Champion, with Sid attempted a powerbomb of his own by Bam Bam Bigelow came out to make the save as Dibiase, Tatanka and Sid cleared themselves from the ring.)

  • During the King of the Ring report, Todd Pettengill asked Lawler whether he would accept Bret Hart's challenge, to which Lawler said he would answer when he was ready.
  • Ernie Ladd and Ivan Putski were announced as the latest inductees in to the WWF Hall of Fame.
  • Vince McMahon conducted an in-ring interview with Alundra Blayze regarding the broken nose she received at the hands of Bertha Faye.
  • Another Bob Backlund vignette aired where he said he would do away with rock music if he was elected president.

(During the match, Kama kicked the Undertaker in the back which led to a leg drop by Mabel to get the 3.)

(As there was no winner in the Shawn Michaels vs. Kama match, Mabel got a bye in to the finals.)

(Hakushi attempted to interfere in the match but it backfired. Post-match, Hart forced Lawler to kiss his feet before having him kiss Lawler's own feet)

7# Mabel (w/ Mo) bt. Savio Vega (w/ Razor Ramon) in the Final match of the King of the Ring tournament
(Post-match, Men on a Mission attacked Razor and the returning 1-2-3 Kid. Razor, Savio and the 1-2-3 Kid were held back during the coronation of the 1995 King of the Ring.)

8# Diesel & Bam Bam Bigelow bt. Tatanka & Sid (w/ Ted Dibiase)
(Sid walked out of the match and this led to Diesel hitting the jacknife powerbomb on to Tatanka to get the 3.)

(During the match, King Mabel rammed Diesel in to the ring post and followed with a leg drop. Later in the match, Michaels hit a double axe handle off the top to the floor on to Sid. Post-match, Diesel and Mabel locked eyes as Diesel's lumberjacks filled the ring. (Razor and Savio thought they had won the match but Razor pinned Owen who was the illegal man and the match was forced to be restarted. The conclusion of the match was never shown on TV as RAW ran out of time.)
