The majority of Bury posters on here come from what is called the **** board (message board).

I’m fairly sure King Kev is Barry P and fuck knows who Burberry is.

I will wager that I haven't posted on the ming board since before you were in primary school.

You definitely post on the messageboard 100%... you post identical things to that Barry P or the other one BuryShakers. You’ve been rumbled mate.

Anyways when have I been over dramatic, I posted the relegation thread last year after about 2 games which got shot down, we ended up bottom so would say I had the last laugh there.

Other than that I pretty much couldn’t be arsed with Bury last year and this season I reckon we will be lower mid table.

You’d have to go back to 2000 to reach a time before I went to primary school so I doubt that mate.

You can tell yourself '100%' who you think I am all you like mate. Means bugger all and yes dramatic is certainly the right word to describe some of your posts.

However not your slandering of that clown Flitcroft on the Mansfield thread when they appointed him, that was excellent. And you have contributed some excellent suggestions to my award winning season opener thread. So fair play for that.

You said you didn't bother last season, are you this season?

That is me calling a truce as it can't be healthy having the majority of our fanbase squabbling on here. :hypo::hypo:

As an aside, Happy Minden Day lads, even to UTS and Burberry. All the best.

Surely you must exclude yourself from that old boy? Keith on the other hand, he drinks Carling....

I'd include myself, try not to get too outraged by things that I can't control and try to enjoy us for the football (pretty hard at the moment) glad I don't have a gammon moment like certain people that post about us.

I won't, you are far too contained. Keith has not responded to the carling acquisitions... His silence speaks volumes.

Nonsense, most of us get on with each other just not with Burberry, though he isn't a Bury supporter so doesn't really count. We also seem to take issue with UTS being a tad over dramatic and getting upset very easily. However I am currently supporting him in his argument with Burberry.

If you remember TFF more accurately you will remember a regular, hilarious bunch of Bury supporters who, amongst many other things, were united in their love of yours truly. (King Kev)

Cider or spirits man myself.. Haven't acquired a taste for ales or wine as of yet but the way Bury are going that might arrive in good time.

Tbf some of those scrumpies knocking around can easily do the trick. They are lethal.

Fellow real ale fan?
As long as its not Flat Flat like, lager if i'm eating a meal. Very partial to a drop of Tallisker Sky or Storm and a Claret that bites back.

Love a good pinch of the old whiskey. Drink too much after a good meal and alot of wine though and boy do you feel it the next day.

Guess what … Stevies back!

And back with an excellent 3 points ... a tactical masterclass delivered by Lowe … it left me with memories of the King Kev (Premier League) demolition of Pompey in League One back in c2012. Absolutely marvellous.

How pleasing it was to see the pre season promotion favourites bounce back from last seasons let down in such heroic style.

Speaking of style … I was saddened to read of our young hero Callums departure to Barnsley, another in a long line of youngsters off our production line to be sold to the first bidder. Shame as he is a proper baller. Still at least his presence until January should ensure a comfortable buffer at the top of the table before he heads over the border to the dark and dreary side.

Good luck to those travelling to Milton Keynes on Saturday, a team likely to be challenging with the likes of the giants of Exeter for the minor promotion places at the business end of the season. How many times have we played this plastic excuse for a club in our first away day? I make it 3 in their measly 10 year existence or whatever it is. Is that Wankleman still the chairman? What a cock he is. I hope the mere presence of Bury fans still winds that frizzled haired cock up.

Enjoy the trip.

MK Dons away, now that brings back memories of my masterclass performance there in January 2013. Trailing at the break a screamer from Schuey drew us level before that awful lump Lenny (not my signing) missed a sitter to win it. One of many what if moments from my time at the club.

My first and probably only visit to MK was our first there. Andy Bishop double secured a 2-1 win. Good opening day that.

What rotten luck to have them two years on the bounce away from home. If I hadn't have been managing Leeds or scouting the world at the time I would have lodged a complaint with the FL.

Shame we conceded so late, a point would have been a fantastic return from the fixture.

It was a double blow for King Kev with our defeat on the south coast as well.

Such a shame but King Kev is in a great position …. lose the first few games … Warnock out and King Kev in as caretaker … win the first 6 games and propel Cardiff into the top half.

Forest tonight. Not particularly bothered to be honest. Game would probably have had more of an edge had it been at Gigg. I remember an inspired performance against Crewe in the League Cup under King Kev … one of the performances of our generation.

Best of luck to the travelling Shaggers this evening.

That Crewe giantkilling was some performance, I actually cover it in Chapter 218 of my book - 'Will there be a Footballing Rainbow: Kevin Blackwell dreaming of a a better brand of football.' The chapter is called - 'Beating Crewe in the league cup.'

I remember before the game I told the players to go out and be heroes and each man smacked his badge and shook my hand on his way out. A scorcher of a goal from Sean Beeley, an absolute cracking finish from Harrad from the penalty spot and a solo goal from Hinds helped turn that game around. Our reward was a dream tie at Premier League Norwich City. Those were some very happy days.

The performance last night must have brought back memories of the King Kev classic round the corner at Meadow Lane which saw us lead by a goal to nil at half time live on Sky.

Onto Saturday, and mambo gets his wish of seeing us play Forest Green Rovers (is Forest Green actually a place?). Who knows what to expect? Hopefully Stuey will put on a great spread of sausage rolls and pork pies for his visiting counterpart. I bet King Kev knows how to put on a proper spread.

Good luck to those heading down. Myself … I'll have another week to wait, but the delights of Crawley are starting to call.

YES
Forest Green is a small hamlet just above town of Nailsworth where FGR have played for past 100 years plus.

It was a hamlet, now it's basically a housing estate at the top of the hill that's part of Nailsworth these days, but yes Forest Green is a place and we have played in it for our entire history.
