No offence Blues but you sent us down a few years ago and we haven't forgotten it. While it won't matter, probably, we really want to beat you.
Cotts will get a deserved, marvellous ovation from us reds but we won't let our team go into 'beach' mode. You're in for a tough game but I think we'll both be happy at the end as I can't see Blackburn and Forest winning against Brentford and Ipswich respectively.
3-1.
Tammy
Paterson
Taylor

Some fooker! ;)
25,120 and the Wurzels at the end, happy days!

Would love to relegate these, won't happen though.

"and caaaan you feel the love, tonight?"

I genuinely don't remember 'sending you down' but hey ho. Me and the lad coming down for this one, new ground for him and will seem like a new ground for me, for whatever reason I don't think I've been to AG since the late 90s. Zero trains whatsoever so having to drive, which puts a bit of a dampener on it but aiming to try and get down very early and watch a bit of the Bristol 10k in the morning.

As for the game, Bristol have all of a sudden turned into Brazil and are steam rollering everyone in their way, I expect a spirited performance from us but ultimately probably a narrow defeat. I'd be amazed if we let Cotterill play against us. It's still a real possibility that we could go down, I'd say it's unlikely but never say never, especially where we're concerned.

1-1, Blues finish 4th bottom and just about survive.

Dve Cott's can't play Trev, that was stipulated in the loan deal. He's not in our starting 11 anyway at the mo so no biggie TBH.
While the Blues didn't actually cause our relegation a few years ago, they put the final nail in our coffin and I do remember the 'cheerio' and ' we'll never play you again' stuff from the away support that day. All the usual stuff but when it's your own team on the receiving end, it still hurts.
As for the stadium, apart from the away end, you won't recognise the place. If you're around the stadium early, I would recommend going to the South end of the stadium, near the sports bar (you'll find it) where we have a fans village. Lots of food and drink outlets and usually a band playing. It's quite a pleasant place to be if it's not raining and home and away fans mingle without the hint of trouble.
Personally, I don't have any problem with the Blues but, like any fan, I want to put you, as our opponents, through the ringer on the last day! :)

Any recommendations on where to park mate? I was reading elsewhere all the surrounding roads are being closed from 4am in readiness for the road race, we'll be in no particular rush to get out after, if it's rammed everywhere I'll probably have a walk to the nearest Burger King or something. I've had a look on the Bristol 10k website which lists a number of City Centre NCP type car parks, would these be walking distance? I've only ever trained/taxi'd into Bristol City and like I said that was getting on for 20 years ago.

There should be plenty of street parking available if you get there early. A lot of away fans head for Bedminster cricket club which is nice and close. If you're over the river from the city centre, everything will be open although the portway (long road from the motorway which passes under the suspension bridge) will be shut. I would suggest staying on the motorway and coming off at junction 19 and following the A369 into Bristol. The cricket club is actually on that road and it's a nice drive in TBH.
I wouldn't bother with the NCP's Trev, they're expensive and a fair old walk TBH. The cricket club would probably be your best bet TBH as you can get straight out without going through the city afterwards. Your other option is to come off at the A4 and go in the park and ride. It's £4 return for adults, kids go free and the buses run for 2 hours before and after the game. The buses are marked as AG1/2/3 and 4.
Cricket club address:
Clanage Rd, Bristol BS3 2JX

A word of warning to our visitors with 'home' tickets. The local plod are checking delivery addresses and the Brum supporters database and cancelling tickets of visiting supporters who have bought home tickets. Entry will, supposedly, be refused.
Just thought I should warn you.

Ticket costs being refunded to Brum supporters according to their forum so this 'database' thing is happening.
I would imagine the security at the 'home' turnstiles' will be heightened on Sunday now. Possibly questions asked like who's number XX, who's our Chairman (a lot of Bristol City fans would get that wrong TBH).?

I had better do some research then on Justin Lee Collins and the 'greatest hits' of The Wurzels.

A simple “Alright me babber?” should be enough to get me in.

Who are these pair of pricks Blues? Arrogant tossers! 'Blues will have too much for Bristol'? Really?

You're a good bunch on here but after seeing that, I hope we give you a good beating. I hope our players see this interview.

EDIT: Officially 'sold out' although I don't understand why our 27,400 seat stadium only has a current capacity of 25,400? There's no way we can put 2000 seats between home and away fans as there are 1200 home fans in the same stand which holds 4,300. 4300-2500-1200=600 so where are the other 1,400 seats that can't be sold?

I remember when El Gumpo stated there was no way Brum would finish below us and Barnsley... Oops

I think we'll win 3 something and it will be great to relegate them.

Do they have an actual forum cos that Small Heath Alliance seems pretty empty?

I never said it. You will never find that quote anywhere. If you dig through my message history you will see that I didn't. You might find something similar and then you will go "Well, but it was close". That's not how it works, you have just lied about something I never said :bg:

That paper/website is just awful. We call it the Villa Mail here. He could had worded it better but I don't think he was arrogant or supercilious with what he said. It is no worse than TTOCS above who thinks Bristol City will smash three past us and send us down. It will be a difficult match for sure but I am hopeful that we can get something from it.

Enlighten me then, what did you say? You will cut your knob off if we finish above you?
Im not gonna trawl through your message history to find something that may or may not be deleted by now but the gist of it was as I said.

I cannot and will not, ever read a story on that Villa Fanzine. Any Blues fan worth their salt wouldn't wipe their arse on that rag.
No offence chaps but I hope TTOCS is right after seeing that. I want to see what this arrogant pair of c**ts have to say after we hammer you? If that puts you down, I don't think it will matter, but so be it!

I've watched the video back and I am still not sure why you are so incensed by it.

"...the resolve, the determination, and the belief they have in themselves now, I think, will see them over the line."

That was basically all they said.

I'm not 'incensed' by it El G, just think it comes across as rather arrogant, that's all. It's not anything to do with your club as it's local media but it does come across as a bit 'Billy big bollocks' and our recent form deserves a bit more respect than I think those 2 media men showed IMHO.
We're playing some really good stuff ATM as 13 points from 15 shows so you'll have to play very well to beat us tomorrow.

They're the same as El Guapo, think their squad is much better than it actually is. Fuck knows how Rowett had them where they were and then some of their fans actually defended the decision to sack him.
