So neither of the owners are taking responsibility for the running of this site. How does that work when you're peddling out adverts for sticky threads, posting banner adverts, having 'cash cow' ads all over the site and asking people to become supporters?

Despite your differences or how busy you are with 'actual life', you might need to see how well footed you are legally.

If you break contracts, either between yourselves, or a third party, you're liable.

Recently I've received all manner of e-mails asking me to sponsor the forums, the forums themselves are plastered with appeals for money and investment, adverts splattered everywhere etc.

All whilst the forums consistently go offline and the person who ultimately holds all the keys continues to ignore their supposed partners, again. This isn't the first time.

How exactly does this place have a long term future under the current management structure? All these promises that things will change will never come to fruition as long as the people promising to change things don't have any realistic access to the powers required to do so.

You can't just keep coming to "accords" that are ignored anyway.

It's a real shame to see what has been for years a pretty fun community under TFF and 1FF constantly embroiled in ownership controversies of some variety when really most of us just want somewhere to log on and talk about football. I get that forums of certain sizes require maintenance and hosting which costs money but lately it feels like the place is only being kept on life support to be an advertising cash cow for somebody who doesn't want to work with the people here doing the actual day to day stuff, not to merely cover costs.

Server dispute has now been settled and we are prepaid. Apologies for the lengthy spell of downtime as a result; I went about this the wrong way in hindsight.
