I do a fair bit of work in Coventry. Working here today as we speak, in the stoke area where Highfield Rd was situated. Rows and rows of run down terraced housing and on the corner there is a sign on the wall which reads “Coventry City Supporters Club” . Very much a rough and ready City although there is plenty of work taking place in the city centre down the road. The only supporters I see around here are Coventry fans. Everyone either has a flag in the garden or wearing something with the Coventry badge on it. Never classed it as a footy city though. We’ve got work in Tile Hill, Stoke, Willenhall , Foleshill.

If a football club stole a rugby union clubs stadium the posh fuckers would be up in arms.

Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Ground? It was Bristol Rugbys ground that Rovers bought out for peanuts when Bristol Rugby was relegated in 1998.

In the end, who has the money calls the shots.

The vote to kick us out of the league has been cancelled.

However, a ground share has been confirmed with Birmingham, should Wasps deny us the chance to play at the Ricoh.

Fucking disgrace, back to square one when they were at Northampton. It's wrong in every way.

And I guess better than being kicked out of the league altogether.

It's 20 miles or so, far better than their issue when they went to Northampton.

Doesn't make it any better. The club has been kicked out of its community by a franchise rugby team from London.

I really don’t understand what Sisu end game is with the club, aren’t they just a bunch of hedge fund managers?

What is there possibly to gain from owning a lower league club with no assets?

They want their money back.

In the meantime, they can keep the club ticking without losing a penny. We've been self sufficient for a few years now. They can carry on earning money off 1 or 2 academy prospects each year like Callum Wilson and James Maddison.

So is any other stadium, new or an updated present build, pie in the sky while they are owners?

How much are they looking for?

Again, what use are the football authorities? Suppose they may realise that without any teams, there is no need for them?

Surely a phoenix club is in the offing? Walk away from the current situation.
Start again at the bottom and do what Wimbledon and Hereford have done.
Finding a ground is the issue of course. Which is why you are now at St Andrews.
