Excellent second half performance from Rangers, and they'll be doubly delighted with Celtic getting gubbed by the same score as well. Happy days for Leo eh! ;)

What a second half for Rangers ,I thought Ejaria was brilliant ,his gait may look awkward but that belies the control the lad has over a football. Delighted for Gerrard ,this team under his tutelage seem to be moving forward in terms of quality with every game they play .
Haven't seen the game yet mate....recorded & will watch this afternoon. From reports I've read I struggle to comprehend how we can put in a performance like last night over 90 minutes yet last Sunday the team were so abysmal over the 90. I still maintain that there is a slight 'fear factor' with Rangers when playing on some of those plastic pitches ( I can't think of another reason). I've watched them over several seasons and they more often than not put in a poor performance.

Tbh Salty, Rangers won't be in the slightest concerned with how Celtic done & neither am I. I couldn't care less either way. But you're correct.... feeling very pleased at our result.

A fairly evenly matched first half but Jesus....how the nearside linesman could miss two offsides right in front of him in the build up to Rapid's goal is disgraceful. The second was so fucking obvious it was laughable if it were not so serious. However within a minute Rangers were back on level terms. But...WOW, what a second half....this is what I want to see....closing the opposition down, challenging, attacking football. Agree with Redpelt about Ejaria....looking tremendous playing alongside Coulibally and Arfield plus we still have Dorrans. Rangers 2nd was a stonewall penalty and excellently stuck away by Tavernier but the third....great chasing by Candeias who got a break then brilliantly backheeled to Morelos who slotted in the third. All in all a great win and after the game....another fine and intelligent interview by Steven Gerrard....he is loving it at Ibrox!

Rangers especially after beating Hearts, who have been the form side so far.

Another excellent result beating Hearts 3-1 at home (we really will have to show the same commitment and form on our domestic travels though). Not being able to see the game I had to listen to radio snippets from pundits who were at the game and from what I've read to form my opinion and I have really no complaints...well just a little one. I cannot undertstand why Katic, who had been excellent in almost every game he played forming a fine partnership with Conor Goldson, has been dropped in favour of Joe Worrall who has been not too bad. I have heard (and I don't know the truth in this) that part of the loan agreement with Forest was that Worrall had to be given X amount of game time. Anyway, back to yesterday....First half Hearts were destroyed from 2 minutes in till the 45th albeit they had a couple of chances which were well saved by McGregor. Goals from Kent who is getting stronger/better every game has been a revelation and is loving it at Ibrox under Steven Gerrard, Morelos with one of the best/cheekiest backheels you'll see this season and Scotty Arfield from close in done for Hearts. Second half they had a player sent off for his 2nd yellow but a lapse from Rangers let them score with a 6 yard box header. Rangers still had chances 2nd half but as so often happens with almost every team once you are so far ahead concentration drops. Still, overall a fine performance and result. Long may it continue!

It was right in front of the assistant referee as well. A genuine WTF moment.

Robbie Nielson is the new boss at Dundee United
Yeah, seen that. Suppose he was one of those coaches/managers out of work and waiting for some unfortunate to get the boot (the managerial roundabout). He did quite well at Hearts but for whatever reason decided to test himself down south with MK Dons with no more than average success there. Possibly the reason he moved from Hearts was the shadow of Craig Levein was always hovering about the place....just my opinion. He won't be a miracle worker at the Arabs because they have been in freefall for a while now. Will he succeed there....just need to wait and see.

Wonder what excuses St Juste will make for last night's fiasco?

Had to happen, even the solitary win we got was pretty fortunate. Just get someone solid in who can try and fix that defence and we might survive this.

What a nerve racking early afternoon that was. A dire performance first half but a well played break saw Ryan Kent scoring a fine goal which put Rangers 0-1 in front at the break. I personally thought that that would give the team a boost and come out all guns blazing 2nd half but it wasn't to be with some woeful possession play....backwards and sideways boring as fuck football (YAWN) & you just knew they would pay for this and so it happened thanks to a fantastic strike from a Hamilton player (can't recall his name). 1-1 with under 10 minutes to go and my over 2.5 goals bet was looking like a dead deal but thanks to two penalties and a great shot from Morelos we won 1-4. Another woeful plastic pitch with black pellets being thrown up continually...how I wish these were totally banned. At least that's the 'no away wins' monkey off our back and hopefully the team can show their home form when they play away. League cup semi final time next Sunday with Rangers v Aberdeen at Hampden & Hearts v Celtic at Murrayfield. Should be two cracking games.

So changing managers seems to have made Dundee even worse! Walloped 4 - 0 away at the weekend, and 3 - 0 at home last night! Unless defenders get signed in January, who could defend set-pieces, we're down.

Watched a recording of the Gers v Spartak Moscow game yesterday afternoon and I thought Rangers played very well. Okay, the finishing could have been better but we have no right to score when we are attacking and between good defending and slack finishing the result really imo was a fair one. Having said that, if we go out to Moscow & play in a similar fashion we 'should' have no worries. Personally I'd have Flanagan before Halliday at LB. Tavernier didn't play that bad unless he is being judged solely on his crossing into the box which admittedly last night was overall poor. Kent was great 1st half but was faded out 2nd but laterally was a threat once more. Candieas put in some shift and is always there or thereabouts. Grezda imo HAS to start on Sunday as does Kent. Ryan Jack coming back done an excellent job....he does a great job and I'm sure he'll become the midfield general if he can steer clear of injury. PS....thought the ref was a fucking joke! Two away games coming up which will be toughies but if we can get a draw in Spain why not Austria & Russia?

Celtic v Aberdeen in the League Cup final after contrasting wins.

Celtic easily beating Herts with a mixture of goals - one penalty, a goalkeeping mistake and a fine effort from outside the area .

Sounds like Aberdeen we fortunate to beat a dominating Rangers side .

Well done Aberdeen. I made my first ever visit to the Granite City 3 weeks ago. Very impressive.

Believe it or not the first half of the Hearts v Celtic game was utter crap....boring doesn't even to begin to describe it. But what a contrast 2nd half with Celtic pulverising Hearts & the score could have been more by a good few goals but for the heroics of the Jambos keeper who uncharacteristically made a howler for Celtic's 2nd (I think).

Aberdeen v Rangers....well, disappointed....gutted fit quite well as to how I felt yesterday after the game but tbh I wasn't totally surprised as both our recognised strikers (Morelos - banned & Lafferty - cup tied) & the manager decided to start Umar Sadiq who has so far played around 30 minutes (combined) in a couple of games. To say Steven Gerrard has not been impressed with Sadiq so far is a huge understatement so I can't even begin to imagine why he opted for him yesterday in what was an important game. Rangers dominated possession most of the game but didn't have a big enough threat in the Aberdeen box....possession means fuck all if there is no end product. I could go about what Rangers did, were unlucky on a few occasions but it makes absolutely no difference...Aberdeen took their chance and that was that. No complaints from this corner. I mentioned Sadiq being chosen yesterday...in my humble opinion that is Steven Gerrard's biggest mistake so far in his Rangers career....there will be others of course and there will still be defeats along the way....I doubt if he will repeat that error again!

Nasty ending at the Hearts v Hibs game with Neil Lennon being hit by a coin although colud be argued he didn't help himself by gloating at the Hearts fans after a goal was disallowed..

Also reported that the Hearts goalie was punched by a Hibs fan as he went to retrieve the ball after it went out of play. Some fans (?) really need to get a grip of themselves. They will have spent almost the entire game spewing out abuse at the opposing manager & players yet because Lennon (and I don't have a lot of time for him) gives a bit back some bellend resorts to committing an assault on him? Fucking nonsense....give it out & you must be big enough to take it back. Anyway, I have the game recorded & will watch it this afternoon.

Shouldn't be condoning that kind of behaviour Leo, although you are Rangers fan so it's expected.

His tactic of playing a different team every week is certainly not working!
All I can say is that at least St Mirren have been as dreadful as you so automatic relegation isn't a certainty at the moment.
As for Neil Lennon - Neil Lennon is as Neil Lennon does.
