Fantastic result.

Fairytale stuff with dog and duck players like Robson-Kanu and Vokes finishing the way they did!

Fair play to Wales, I do like the underdog.

However, football is in a sad state of affairs when a Semi Final is;

Wales (Weak Championship side take Bale/Ramsay out) vs Portugal (4 draws, dire football, haven't won a game).

I disagree football is a team game, and what is happening this year is a breath of fresh air and a reminder of that. It's not all about having star players with over inflated egos.

What a time to be British!!!

This Team GB squad is something to behold. Who would've thought this merry band of misfits would've achieved this?! People will point to the all three English goalscorers and say it's all about England but I put two fingers up to those losers, this is a victory for the whole of Great Britain!

Is football in a sad state....? Or has the draw been unusually favourable to certain clubs this year or even... are those sides are actually pretty good (how many sides could boast a truly world class player and two other regulars from otherwise top class clubs)

Portugal are hardly a top class side, but neither were they in 2004 and they were ultimately beaten by a far worse side than Wales (on paper).

What. A. Match. Belgium get it handed to them by a striker who wasn't good enough for Reading. Beautiful goal from Nainggggggolan, but let's ignore that because I hate Belgium. Bale making it about the team rather than himself. Overall, great to see "little old Wales" beat a favorite like Belgium. Next thing you know England will be beating Iceland, wouldn't that be funny?

I'm in a state of blissful shock. What a performance by every player for Wales tonight. Heroes one and all. I'm so proud of our team and our manager.

That's 10 goals scored with 6 different Welsh scorers. And a semifinal appearance, which is more than we could have dreamed of.

I would have been happy getting out of the group, that would have constituted a success for us. This is simply unbelievable what is happening, I'm in shock right now.

Gimps.

We will win.
Told ya.

Dunno why even Welsh boys are down on us, we're a good team, which is why I predicted before a ball was kicked we'd make the semi's.

Portugal you better get ready, we're gonna come for ya like nothing you've ever seen.

Well done Wales absolutely fantastic result can't quite believe they are going to be in the semi finals of a major tournament, and I really think they will beat Portugal and make the final. Belgium after picking up must be sick with that, arguably their best chance of winning something and they've thrown it away, after they went 1-0 up I thought they'd end up having far too much but Wales showed great character. Missing Joe Ledley and Aaron Ramsey for it will be a big loss but their just seems no stopping them.

Brilliant stuff. Delighted for Ash. From almost being binned off to Tamworth or somewhere when he was with us to being 90 mins away from captaining a side in the European Championship finals. Fantastic.

I'm claiming dual nationality on the basis of dozens of miserable damp camping holidays to North Wales as a kid and jumping on the bandwagon :cool1:

They "picked up" because Hungary let them play and run all over them, we were never going to play that way. They've always been well overrated and Wilmots is useless, we knew this from the WC 2014 and the qualifiers for this tournament. Ledley will play, it's Davies that is suspended. We will really miss Ramsey, that 2 bookings rule is absurd to say the least. How can it be right to have one of the star players of the tournament missing because he got booked twice in 5 matches?

Even more ridiculous given Ramsey was clearly trying to get his hand out of the way.

Didn't they used to wipe bookings after the group stages?

At Euro 2016? Barely anyone at all apart from Croatia, Portugal, Poland, France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Austria, Spain and Sweden.

Completely agree, it needs looking at. Surely cards should be wiped clear after a certain point, like the last 16?

As well as Wales have done, you predicted semis beforehand?

Acknowledging there are always plenty of variables, you might have been facing France or Italy in the quarters, Germany in the 2nd round etc depending on where you finished in the group.

Even if you predicted winning the group, you could well have been facing Italy yesterday.

Wales have been brilliant in beating what's been put in front of them so far (and Portugal are beatable too as it happens), but the above three are a massive step up in quality.

I know you're there now, but predicting semis before the tournament was a bit OTT.

Imagine how well we would do if we weren't a shit, one man team.
+1

We've really shown those dickheads who said we were nothing without PL winner and Devon's favourite son Andy King, he's barely even played! "Wolverhampton Williams" is the true heartbeat of our wonderful squad.

They get wiped after the QFs, so Ramsey got the latest suspension possible. Should be after the round of 16 or group stage surely, as there are only 4 teams to wipe after the QFs!

I'd say a strong championship side. 1 world class player and 2 very good prem players. The spine of the side are your best players Williams,Ramsey, bale. That's why your doing well other than them 3 your team on paper is garbage but on paper means fuck all you've got the spirit and the togetherness and the passion required. I hope you beat portugal I'm going to the final so want to see you lot v France.

Our team 'on paper' isn't garbage though, what a blind thing to say.

Haha. It would be one heck of a strong Championship side considering most of the players play in the Premier League.
