We were lucky to get a point, Ipswich outplayed us.
Absolute garbage performance by us.

How the hell would I know M Dogg, I don't know them all? Crowd was given as 18,400 and something FWIW.

In all honesty, if I had known it would be that bad, I would have found something else to do as well.

Leeds and Sheffield United still not giving us any room to breathe, it seems. It's really starting to get tense now, and I'm not sure I can handle such a close battle for autos much longer. Just makes it crucial that we beat Hull tomorrow night, and that we then do the business against Rotherham on Saturday too.

It's really looking like Saturday's game between Leeds and Sheffield United could prove absolutely crucial in determining where this promotion race goes from here. From a Norwich perspective, I'd be happy with anything so long as Sheffield United don't win; it probably sounds crazy to be happy with a Leeds win in the circumstances, but if it means that a proper gap starts to form between us and Sheffield United (again, assuming we do our bit and win our games) then so be it.

We have single handedly ruined Bristol City's season for the 2nd year running, and we aren't even in this league anymore.

£100 you dont get top 6?

I'm not that silly, we'd probably need to win 8 of our last 9 and help your lot out in the process! It's just nice to have a strong finish to the season and still be alive and kicking, just.

If we got 2nd due to you beating Norwich and Leeds you can have top 6 all day long for me.

I swear you're the luckiest team in the world at times. 2 points in 5 games when you're 6th would normally see you drop from play offs to mid table. Somehow, you're still 6th?

We on the other hand will win 3/4 games in a row & if we're lucky move 2 points further away from the relegation zone.

When we were playing on the weekend, the commentary cut to City at half time - can't believe the booing at half time against Leeds. In 6th place against 1st/2nd in the table. What's going on down there?

Maybe some of ours have ideas above their station Gassy. The first half on Saturday was a very poor performance by us and a very good one by Leeds, to be fair but the booing was out of order.
We're not a big club in this league and some would do well to remember that (not the City fans on here I must add).
To cheer you up, the performance was equally bad last night, in fact it was absolutely woeful. :( If you want a laugh, try and find a video of our new goalkeeper last night, oh dear! :ffs:

Quite nervous about tonight, pull out a win and the table could look really good. I'm not underestimating Boro though, still got quality all over that team.

Hopefully Stoke can do everyone a favour tonight.

Yep, most of City fans on here are sound tbf. Weird though, I have a new colleague who supports Forrest & he absolutely hates you lot (which of course I was more than happy to listen to his stories) - he was talking a lot about arrogance & "big club" nonsense. I said tbh, it's probably because we're so sh*t, its easy for them to get carried away.

I was hoping Harrison would come on & score the winner, but never mind. Looks like you'll drop out soon enough from the play offs with some other teams looking quite good & in form.

LJ is a weird guy it seems. If you ask most city fans it seems like you're mixed about him. At times the football is stunning & then it swaps to a shambles. But at the end of the season, you'll still finish in a very respectable position, which is always hard to argue against tbf

I'd love it absolutely love it if we finish 6th on 69 points and beat Sheff Utd who finish 3rd on 90 points in play offs.

McCabe would be contacting his lawyers asap after 2nd leg. :bg:

Relentless. We really need to avoid defeat at Leeds big time.

What's Bristol City's game in hand?

I'd like to see Wednesday make the last play-off spot but even with all the teams around them dropping points left, right and centre, Jos may have left them with too much to do.

Things are getting interesting. Two points off the play offs, six away wins in a row. If we can sort out our home form, who knows.

We’ve got Boro away on Wednesday. Win that and things get very interesting.

Indeed they have, fantastic result for you lot at a team that don't have the best home record, but with only 12 goals conceded before tonight are clearly very difficult to break down.

On a related note - it's interesting that Wednesday sacked Luhukay after a run of only 5 points in 10 games, but Preston started the season with the same run, but kept faith with their manager and are above Wednesday in the table. Does having lower expectations than Wednesday have something to do with that, or was there enough to indicate that Neil would turn things around, which Luhukay didn't look like doing?

Another three points but a very sloppy and tired second half performance. Rotation desperately needed on Saturday, and then it's the international break and the big game against Middlesbrough after that. Hopefully we'll be a bit less complacent by then, as a performance like tonight's second half will not be good enough.

Alex Neil probably wouldn't drop two of his most important players for half a season, Luhukay had the right idea to bring kids through but implemented it terribly, and he for a manager who had been well known in Germany for being the master of discipline and 1-0 wins, our defence was horrendous. We've kept something like 10 clean sheets in 15 games since he was sacked.

Looks like PNE's and Villa's to lose at the moment.

We're playing well again which is promising, get Mount back after the break and we might just be able to stay in touching distance till the end.

There's some shite teams in this league.
