Very good hard fought won yesterday vs a strong Gainsborough who were unlucky to get something but Staly dug right in to get it.

Looking great going forward now it’s settled, Caron from Darlo has been superb, back 4 much more stable.

Not on a par with Warrington, South Shields and Gainsborough, but if we can find out how to play away from home should be a solid season

Seriously BD, Caton has been superb, well that's a turn up for the books. That's good news for us we might be able to take him of our payroll in January? I had high hopes for the lad when we signed him, but he was a major disappointment.

Yep added some quality. Think I read he is doing something manc area now career wise???? Maybe he has knuckled down knowing Staly is a great part time role for him in regards location to do both. He carries on it probs will get him off books.

Cannot do night games with newborn, seems like we ground a point out vs a decent Nantwich, need to capitalise sat vs a NFU club in freefall

And to think FA Trophy holders 2015 & National League North play-off champions 2016.
Surprisingly! What on earth has gone wrong.

I didn't realize he was 32-year-old and has himself played for Durham and Kent.

Me too, then again the way we are playing at the moment we'll be in the EVO-STIK next season.

1) Billy Heath left
2) The money stopped.

North Ferriby isn't even the whole of Ferriby, it's not even a village, it's not even a suburb of a village, it's an allotment with turnips in one half and football in the other and it;s sometimes hard to tell which half is which. :ds:

Well according to someone on DevaChat, North Ferriby is in the North-East. :ffs:
I guess on that basis that would make you a NE team too. :bg:

Michael Howard sounds like he's doing well at Hednesford.

Josh Earl cut his teeth at this level with Lancaster and he's part of the first team set up now, good level for young lads to get used to the physicality part of the game.

Smaller than Leigh RMI, Boreham Wood, Histon etc? I don't know much about this league remember some fairly small clubs being down here previously.

I lived in Hull for 3 years and went to Ferriby a couple of times for games and thought the crowds when I went were ok - 300 odd both times I think

Huge game at Staly tonight vs top of the league Scarborough.........we can go level on points with a win but chances in this game very slim as many players out with knocks.

Weirdest thing of this game is ‘segregation’ for their probably 25 fans not sure why guessing Scarborough have some reputation in this league going off statements by both clubs.

Hard to go to night games with two month kid, but warm evening so may go take him and see just first half

Very unfortunate for Staly to go down to a last-gasp Michael Coulson penalty in the 90th minute, a bit of a disagreement surrounding the decision like, keeper got down well as it trickled over the line.

Apparently certain behavior from individuals from the Scarborough contingent has unsettled clubs in the league to implement strategies for the safety of those in attendance. If that's the case whoever these individuals are they shouldn't be allowed to travel to the games.

Some surprisingly strong crowds, all bar two over 300, all bar one over 250. Not bad given Tuesday games usually decimate numbers.

BigDaveCUFC How's Michael Clarke been getting on at Staly? He signed to Curzon originally and then left to join Staly?!

he's played very well so far. i am guessing he just suddenly left Curzon as they wanted him as a bit part forward whereas Staly have him as a key centre back.

Still leak goals but he's unlucky in respect that the main goalkeeper got injured for a few weeks earlier in year and they have a youth in goals for now, plus a new back 4 had to learn to play together from scratch.

think he may just nicely settle at staly till retirement.

Scarborough will be 5pts clear tonight, although they have played quite a few more games than most other teams. Currently winning 3-0 at home to Buxton.

After all the hype with South Shields over the summer period with squad strengthening, and were strongly fancied at 5/2 for another promotion. Looks like the bubble has burst with their sixth away defeat tonight down at Hyde, not good travelers with 6 away defeats to their name.

Points on the board i always think sometimes can work out better than having games in hand?
So Scarborough fit that category after scooting 5 points clear at the top of the table with an impressive 4-0 win against a decent Buxton side, albeit they've played 3 games more than second place Warrington who's game tonight was postponed.

Looks like Scarborough are on the way back.

Remember playing them a bit in the 90s. Another club who tried to create a 'rivalry' with us.

It's good to see a club come back, especially having been formed in 1879, before they were wound up in 2007 with huge debts. I'm really pleased for them.

Yeah i haven't seen Scarborough play us since they were ground sharing in Bridlington in 2015. I disapproved of the crowd trouble that marred that day out. It was pretty ugly.

Yeah i can quite imagine with the 'rivalry' - Salford tried to make out they had 'rivalry' with us.
