Would this be Ice Hockey, H..?

In Britain, "hockey" refers to the field game rather than the ice version. Just want to clear that point up so we know which game we're talking about.

Yes, I believe it is. I'm quite a winter sports fan myself, though generally speaking I'm more a fan those that are practiced on skis rather than skates.

I do enjoy watching the figure skating though, and of course, the Ice Hockey tournament at the Winter Olympics is always very <ahem> 'competitive'... especially when the Canadians are involved.

Not expecting a three-peat from my Penguins this season, I mean we've already been smacked 10-1 by Chicago and 7-1 by Tampa. Still, I'll take back to back and let someone else have a crack :cool1:

Hopefully I can get to another game or two this season.

Pens depth is rather bleak but there's enough talent on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd offensive lines to masquerade the problems defensively.

Time to finish off the Flyers tonight. Let's go Pens!

I’ve got a feeling the Pens and Bruins are on a collision course in the EC Finals. My suspicion is this is a year too early for the B’s as this team is very young but am thrilled with the progress made under Cassidy nontheless.

Have to hand it to the Vegas Golden Knights too. For a first year expansion team to do what they have this year is phenomenal. And just to add I think they may just be my pick to lift the Stanley Cup once all said and done also.

Depth is fine, defensively not great but all they really need to do is not be pylons, and give the puck to the forwards.

The Bruins don’t half make things awkward for themselves. Finally got through game 7 against the Leafs not before blowing a 3-1 series lead and also some erm interesting goaltending from Rask in the first two periods last night.

On to Tampa anyway, should be a good series though B’s will need to step it up big time if to win it.

Vegas Golden Knights into the Stanley Cup Final. Incredible achievement in their first year as a franchise hopefully they can go on to win it.

Damn it looks like Ovi's going to the finals. 3-0 Caps after 2.
Got it all to do against this Vegas team though. We need to change the narrative going forward. They play fire wagon hockey, the play breaking down, goals going in each side. Caps need to defend a lot better.

I’ve never seen a team capitalise (pun intended) on mistakes like Vegas does. It’s insane.

The Caps are on the best bender. Russian Machine Never Breaks has all the photos and clips from social media.

I’ll try to post a little recap of my trip to game 4 of the Eastern Conference Final in DC when I have time. I’ll post some pictures too.

Usasports is selling authentic Caps jerseys at a reduced price, and there’s a further 25% off with free shipping. Mine arrived last week from them and it’s legit. Ive used them a couple of times now and had no issues with them.

Im trying to not get my hopes up but Tavares could actually be a Toronto Maple Leaf tomorrow.

I've been wanting him to play for us for 10 or so years now....heck i wanted us to tank the 2008/09 season just to draft him. Hes a Toronto lad, was a massive Leafs fan as a kid and even tried a loop hole to play for our AHL team when he was 18......surely its time for him to finally fulfil his dream

Aww Raymondo you can hope on, there's no way in hell the Leafs fit him under their cap with Matthews, Marner, Nylander etc all needing new deals next summer.

I think he either stays on the island, or goes to San Jose, with Vegas as a long shot.
