Both sides have recent Wembley experience and not much between us in either league game, so hard to pick a winner. The lower tier tickets are cheaper than those for the National League playoffs, no idea who comes up with the pricing for these things. Bring your friends - red, blue, Cardiff, Swansea, sheep - it should be good!

Preference for me would be Newport, but only because I think Flynn's done a cracking job over the last two or three years there. Nothing against Tranmere.

While we respect Tranmere I wouldn't say we fear them as a footballing side. Suspect the same may be true of us if you ask the Tranmere fans. Difficult to say who is favourite. Norwood is obviously a threat but Tranmere are a good side across the park.
Midfield may be where it is won or lost as it so often is. Whoever comes out on top in the Labadie v Harris match up may clinch it.
Little between us in the league games between us this season. We won 1-0 at PP and it was a 0-0 draw at Dave last month.
Wonder where Aldo's loyalties will lie.
Also seems a bit strange us getting a larger initial ticket allocation. No chance we will sell 19,000 tickets.

Really impressive display from Newport at Mansfield to qualify for the final. Mike Flynn has done a fantastic job there in saving the club from oblivion.
Newport have certainly got plenty of bite in midfield with Joss Labadie. Remember him playing for Tranmere and he didn’t look out of place in league 1. Can’t remember us ever scoring past keeper Joe Day either.
Tough tough game with plenty of potential for a red card or two.

both teams are worthy of going up, but if I was a betting man I would be lumping it on Newport in a one-off game.

Two likeable sides in my opinion. For the benefit of next season, I think Newport would be a weaker side than Tranmere to have in this league next season. On the flipside however, I do love a day on the piss in Liverpool before we play Tranmere.

Tough to call, but won't begrudge either side a promotion they both deserve.

Come on the Port!!
Seriously, are you that bothered ?

When you knocked us out of the play offs a couple of years ago, my thoughts turned immediately to the following season, and who we were going to bring in, release etc.

Plus, is not Newport a more local fixture for you ?

Tickets already causing stress. They seem to be severely rationing the lower price tickets in an effort to force us to buy the expensive ones. Out of all the ticketing systems I've seen in recent years only AFC Fylde nailed it, believe it or not. Every other system I've used has been abysmal.

Enjoy the day all and the best team win.

I’d plump for Newport if I had to only as tranmere is closer and actually desirable to go to!

No tickets on sale. We must have sold our 70,000 seats.

I suppose it is difficult logistically when neither club is likely to fill half of the stadium. If it was Sunderland v Portsmouth you could whack the tickets on sale for all categories in all areas, in the knowledge that every ticket would be sold.

We sold 5000 tickets yesterday. Can see us taking about 12-15 k this season.

I want Newport to win- purely because I enjoy a Tranmere away day. Only about an hour drive from me.

But if Tranmere do go up, then fair play. Shows how a club should be handled after being promoted from the Conference and continue with the momentum- we went the opposite way.

Flip of a coin type of game this is. Really tough to call. I feel Newport are probably better, but Norwood can score from nothing. Also Tranmere being promoted at Wembley last season has to be an advantage. Can't see an overly big crowd for this one though, maybe around 25k.

Hopefully it's less stressful than our last game there!

Feels like it inherently should be, what with getting out of the Conference harder and just more significant than going L2 to L1? Sure that won't be on your mind on the day, though.

Good luck to both teams. Not bothered who wins me sen.

No idea what Seetickets are doing! Let's see what tomorrow brings.

Are they still using Seetickets? I remember the issues we had with them when we got to the final in 2012.

I do think that using companies like this puts floaters off attending these games. Not everyone - especially the older generation - is au fait with the internet and struggles to obtain tickets if it's the only way of getting them (I remember my uncle really struggling in 2012). And that's before you factor in the handling fees.

Bloody stupid, the ticketing site. In the end all's good, and I have my cheap tickets right behind the goal, but last night they were still trying to fill up the corner and the more expensive tickets before releasing them. Not user friendly at all.

My uncle decided to do pay on the day in the end as there were no cheap tickets left - he turned up to the ticket office at Wembley and they were selling the cheapest ones with no issues at all.

I bought cheap ones through Seetickets and there were loads of open spaces around me.

It's all a big con.
