Not surprised after their sponsorship deal is rumoured to be a high 6 figure sum. Pavin Singha is the chairman of Bangkok Glass and the company owns a Thai Premier League of the same name. So I expect he will advise a bit on the admin/strategy side of things. I will see how it goes should it happen.

Only downsides today so far we've lost a very good physio and still waiting for news on the player front, other than Cameron Norman and Simon Eastwood signing a new contract.

Doesn’t it go straight into Kassam’s pocket though in rent?

The rent is steep and we are still in dispute over some of it. I think the dispute is down to the utter lack of maintenance etc so we aren't paying for it. Kassam really has got himself a cushty agreement.

How involved Pavin Singha becomes involved and how much finance is involved we wait to see but it suggests a few answers to some of our fans' concerns they about Tiger, our owner.

At least it will be a better Beer in the stadium than warm Carlsberg.

Isn't it something silly like £500k a year straight to Kassam in rent? Obscene amount.
In comparison ours is £0 unless we make a profit and that would be £25k. Luton have never made a profit since selling the stadium. Maybe last season?

Something stupid like that and the disputed charges relate to a figure of around £500k. It is obscene considering what little the Stadium Company do and that we don't get any money from food/alcohol sales.

Clearly that is not a market rate of rent so not really a relevant comparison. People pay more to rent a house in Oxford.

It’s not really supposed to be. The council own our ground and they get prime redevelopment land when we move out.
