We've sold out our 1,600 allocation of tickets for our first ever competitive meeting with Braintree. I've only seen us play there twice in friendlies.

Last season at Boreham Wood we did similar - Selling lots of tickets and put in a very subdued performance and lost 2-0.

This is the sort of game where we would usually lose 1-0, so I am taking nothing for granted. Braintree have also narrowed their pitch and have grown their grass long.

Salford are the only team I am truly wary of if I am honest right now, but that can all change very quickly.

Battle of the best at Salford, best at home v best away, would be very happy with a point from this, probably our first real test of the season, let's see were we measure up.

We'll either get reffed out of it or plastic pitch'd out of it.

Without Kosylo and Brown I’m very very worried against one of the best teams in the league. Hope I get proved wrong but can see a loss and it’s the first time I’ve felt that this season.

Salford vs Pools, Halifax vs Fylde and Harrogate vs Wrexham all on the same Tuesday night? Massive stuff.

$alford to win again (f*** off), Halifax to narrowly lose to Flyde due to having 8 players, the manager, 3 ball boys and the mascot sent off for a heady mix of violent conduct, foul and abusing language, and trying to claim membership to the Brotherhood.

Harrogate and Wrexham fight it out in what can only be described as a mid table slog. Away win.

Meanwhile the wheels come flying off the Orient express, after thrashing the undefeated league leaders we will head to braintree (seriously, who named that town) full of confidence, and will likely get done 1-0.

Big day.

Solihull away, pretty much a free hit.

Would like to see Minns and/or Bellamy get their debut, no idea if they're good or not, but would be good to have the chance to find out.

You know you’ve sunk to a whole new low when you’re looking at Halifax v Fylde as a big game.

Being without Kioso and Donaldson weakens us quite a bit. Don't think we'll get owt from this, but you never know.

Barely even realised we had a game tonight, we most certainly will lose, and probably won't score.

Only been to 1 home game this season and won't be making it 2 any time soon.

Only this post reminded me tbh. Have you ever been more completely and utterly disillusioned and numb to football?

You’ve been in this league about 4 minutes. Come back in 10 years and we’ll discuss.

Hopefully by now summerfield's red card has been rescinded. Just when you think refs can't be more shite , we find one and we haven't had sam Allison yet.

The ONLY reason these games are taking place at all, is because the fake clubs have BOUGHT the privilige of competing against The Brotherhood, aka the real clubs. Everyone knows this is so wrong, I don't know where to start. :£:£:£

1,600 tickets for the away end gone tonight. Around 200 and counting in the home end.

Six changes for Maidenhead tonight, who fielded a stronger team on Saturday. Cannot see Allen surviving if Chesterfield lose this.

I’ve lost all interest in all honesty. Used to move heaven and earth to watch us play despite not livin local for 8/9 years. Now I’m just not that bothered anymore. Had it all sucked out of me by those at the top. Still enjoy a day out and few beers and a catch up with mates but wouldn’t find me at home games anymore, or very rarely so anyway.

If only that was the top and bottom of the problem. I could live with that

My disenchantment has got nothing to do with us being in the league at all. In fact the football is pretty insignificant in all of this to me

Removing Allen will just start us on another 6-9 month cycle of sacking a manager, replacing all the back room staff, signing a whole new team and then sacking said manager again to start the cycle again. Whilst the current owners are in situ we can keep chopping and changing managers and players as we have done in the last 3 years since the near promotion to the Championship, but it wouldn’t make a jot of difference. Our fate is sealed and a new manager can’t halt that I fear
