another week where nothing can be settled, although even Braintree and Maidstone wins would still see the fat lady doing her voice excercises...
Chesterfield should play with a bit more freedom now that they are nearly safe and I see them getting a point off Sutton
Aldershot could actually get a win at Boreham Wood who are going down faster than Teresa May in a meeting with the EU;- but even a win is unlikely to do anything more than delay the inevitable - I guess me tipping them to win the league was just too much of a burdon for them to carry.
Of the games involving teams at the top;-
Barrow v Harrogate
- again it depends on which Barrow team turns up - Harrogate are one of our bogey teams - but beat them and we have 5 very winnable games before Gateshead away on the last day... Under 16's are allowed in free for the match so there should be a bigger crowd than usual - which usually means Barrow disappoint - but i'm going for 2-1 to Barrow.
Halifax v Solihull
- will Solihull's nerve hold after nearly bottling it against Braintree last week? I'm going for a 1-1 draw which will please Orient and Salford fans.
Hartlepool v Wrexham.
Wrexham edged past Maidstone last week and have lost Tollitt who's loan has ended. They are really struggling to score more than 1 in a games at present. They've signed someone i'd never heard of called Anthony Spyrou from Norwich - but i think he's been signed for the "Spyro(u) the dragon" headlines in the Wrexham paper if he does actually score. I can see this ending 1-1 as Wrexham fans start to accept that the regular fall out of the play offs is in full swing.
Salford v Barnet
- anything but a home win please - can't see it though... 2-0 Salford

Boreham Wood away, another defeat incoming.
Don’t even care at this stage, just want the season over, and begin prepping for a long stint in th South.

does Woking and Torquay's form after going down give you no hope of bouncing straight back up?

Well since we're more or less safe barring some freak results and a calamitous drop from us we'll be gladly handing over a 2-0 victory to our Welsh Brothers in their quest back to the holy land.

Tenner in so should be a healthy crowd too, how's ticket sales going on your end Wrexham fans?

A bit, yeah. Depends what happens this summer. We need a huge clear out of all the deadwood, manager included. If we can then get a decent manager on board (like both Woking & Torquay have) then we’ve got half a chance.

What’s going on at Aldershot this year? The side they had 2 seasons ago was the best footballing side we played against at that level in our 3 years of punishment.

You talk about Wrexham more than any other team, including your own. Sums your obsession with us up.

He’s only started creating the matchday threads since THAT MATCH the other week.

But they don’t like to talk about it and it definitely isn’t out on DVD.

It's not nice - I'd hate to see what might happen to your club without the much needed cash from the DVD sales

Whether we reach Wembley or not Saturday, the results here will be more interesting to me.

We're gonna have three games in hand after this and will be playing Saturday-Tuesday for three solid weeks after this weekend.

Will be interesting to see how Sutton react to Doswell not being there.

Hoping that the Halifax roulette can do us a favour - only 8 goals conceded at home - Two of which came against Hartlepool.

And before B2TF comes a knocking with his dancing banana's and Egyptians they also had two sent off that day for their thuggery.

whilst I don't think Augustien signing for Wrexham will affect the result on Saturday I do think that assuming they stay in a play off position he could be the key to them getting back into the league via the play offs once he gets match fit

You’d have beaten us by more if he’d have played in THAT GAME.

if he'd been fit yes - but he hasn't played a match in over 10 weeks - so will take time getting up to speed - a class above virtually every CM in this league when match fit

Hey Chipmunx. Forget about Wrexham, forget about football for a short while. Read some escapist literature. On the road, Catcher in the rye, anything! Just drop your grudge with Wrexham fc. Life's too short to be bitter over other football clubs.

Yep fully expecting you to lay down arms and have your tummies tickled.

I don't think many would have been confident of a win, but two signings in a couple of days will have given some added confidence, as we had completely regressed to a side who looked incapable of scoring again.

You sign two and we lose two first team defenders to international duty, we let in goals for fun, have done all season so this won’t help us.

Hopefully Deverdics plays and we can at least have a competitive match.

If it helps, we've never beaten them at The Shay in 4 attempts.

It's a man's game. Your girls only got their tits in front after the first card, and were wetting their knickers at the end against 9 men. :fl:

Have a banana. :db:
