Think it will be 1-1 and Villa to win 2-1 in the return at Villa Park

2.1 to Boro. I've not got a good feeling about this game at all, although we have a decent record up there. Pulis has really got Boro going now, and we are far too sluggish at times. If we play our game that will be a different matter, but I just don't think we will perform that well tomorrow. Big day of drinking for me tomorrow anyway, so I'll be watching the game in the pub. Not sure if it's sold out in the home ends, but we have around 300 tickets left for the return leg.

Also think it’ll be a draw at Boro with Villa winning the return leg.

I think this will be a really tight tie, tough one to call but as a blues fan I obviously hope Boro come out on top :bg:

Listened to this on the radio some kind of old man. Good start from Villa from the sounds of it.

In Brum now with the Staffordshire mob. Great weather, and hopefully a great night. After not fucking the first leg up, which I thought we'd do, I'm now confident we can finish the job. Boro may score, but so will we, so it's a huge task for them tonight. First goal will obviously be crucial. Anyway....drinking time.

Boro had the better of the game but no real clear cut chances.

Villa fans singing 'where were you when we were shit' to the fans on the pitch

Not much of a spectacle in all honesty and the Villa keeper should have been sent off near the end.
I suppose Villa did what they needed to do.

Yeah keeper should have seen red for that granted. Blame Mike Dean and the officials though, they're the ones who should be spotting this kinda stuff . JT MOTM for me, fucking legend , Grealish 2nd. Johnstone had a tidy a game also apart from that blatant fuck up.

Couldn't care less though, bring on Fulham UTV

Dod not want Pulis back in the prem so soon otherwise we'd have to hear what a great manager he clearly is and how wrong clubs were to sack him.

Best 2 performers over the season in the playoff final as it should be.

Far from a great game, but we got the job done. Very lame from Boro, and pulis is not one for chasing games, so it was always going to play into our favour after winning the first leg. Wish those tinpot twats would have stayed off the pitch. It didn't go down too well with the regulars. Really don't know what to expect in the final.

What a final it will be. Pleased for Villa, for absolutely no reason, I've always liked Villa

Just watched the highlights though, Villa GK very lucky to stay on at the end there

I thought it was a pretty poor game tbh. Middlesbrough were absolutely awful, they deserved nothing from the tie and villa just about seen out the tie at 1-0. I’d expect Fulham to comfortably win the final in all honesty.

That effort the Villa goalie handled was about the only shot Boro had on target !

They were very negative !
