How Easy Was The Ground to Get To (from the station, by car, etc)
Easy by car. Get off the A1 at Borehamwood, get past a few roundabouts and it's on your right just before you enter the main drag.

If Applicable, How is Parking Near The Ground?
The little parking you get at the ground costs a few quid, but there's as much free space as you'll need on the suburbs that snake around on all sides. Make a note of where you park though as there aren't exactly streams of people walking to and from the game.

Based on Where You Were Sat, How Was the View?
Unrestricted views on all sides, with several rows of steps/seats in most areas. As an away fan you're given behind one goal, along half of which is an open terrace with hard standing to the right, then the near section of the grandstand. You're always close to the action which I personally like.

How Were The Stewards on The Day?
It seemed like they'd only been told that Boreham Wood FC existed 10 minutes earlier. Large numbers of Town fans were looking around for the away end, but the whole stewarding presence stood there avoiding any communication. Eventually a man behind what turned out to be the home turnstiles asked if we were from Halifax and got a steward over to explain where the queue of Town fans should be. After a while of deliberation and stuttering, the steward announced we were meant to go to the other side of the ground. Even this was hard to find, with the straightforward route fenced off, meaning we had to dash around the back of a bowling green complex and up a wooded path to the away end, just in time to miss the kick off.

If You Ate at The Ground, How Would You Rate the Food?
Most Town fans boycotted it due to the home club charging visiting media teams for bringing cameras into the ground, thus not giving us any highlights of the game.

How Was The Atmosphere At The Ground, From Both Sets of Supporters? Does the Stadium Hold the Noise?
No roofs to carry it, but the whole place was pretty quiet so you could hear an individual shouting from the opposite end. Boreham Wood's noise mainly came from a single man blasting preset sounds through a megaphone, while he also lead a few others in some much-repeated chants about us being domestic abusing northern bastards. More of a throwback to our regional days, or to a friendly. Though I only saw one replica BWFC shirt worn by the home fans, there were plenty of Arsenal and Chelsea numbers, and there were a few giving lip to away fans outside the ground. Despite claims that smaller clubs have a friendly charm to them, I find places like Prenton Park and Sincil Bank are much more cordial.

How Are the Pubs and Local Attractions in The Local Area?
Got there early to do some door-to-door sales stuff with the person I was with. Leafy, modern and well off suburbs for the most part. Definitely feels more Hertfordshire than London. We ate at the Waggon and Horses just out of town which is a good looking place but the food was half arsed and the drink was nowt special. Lots of Town fans went to the Wetherspoon on the main road. I think they have some cinema-related attractions but largely it's horses-and-Porsches territory.

Overall Score Out of 10?
Contemptuously tinpot but too much so to enjoy the thought of beating them. A pleasant place and a team that don't play too badly, but let down by having an unreal proportion of numpties around the club.
3/10
