Aren’t Macclesfield’s owner equally bad, never get the pay out on time. Oldham owner a headcase. I’d expect better offers to come along for Sol.

Yeah it's a mess at Macclesfield too but at least if he struggles there he's only doing what's expected, Oldham fans apparently still have delusions of the Royle days, if you ask a few of their former managers.

Lowe never showed any loyalty as s player, so leopards don’t change their spots etc and he’ll be off, given half a chance. Though in current circumstances understandable. Thought there would be more experienced contenders for the Plymouth job tbh.

Not fussed either way tbh. It doesnt matter who is manager until this owner fucks off.

I guess he is cheap, which will be important for us. Twitter account of local jouno, Chris errington, is saying he has spoken to Argyle. Does not mean he has been offered or accepted. What’s he like Bury fans?

Best football we've ever played this season. Defending has been pretty rubbish though but its still got us promotion. Seems to be a very well liked guy by lots of people in football so getting players on loan etc shouldnt be a problem.

Hardly. We have been shite for 25 years with the odd play off flirt thrown in. Anyone under the age of 35 will struggle to offer any real memories of the pinch me years under royle, and have known little other than disappointment.

The reason -for the most part - that we have been shut is the lack of stability from top to bottom of the club. Players don't last beyond a season the majority of the time, our longest serving player usually only has 3 Years under his belt. Managers don't last a season and are usually novices in their first job and always the cheap option.

When people speak of the royle era it's a longing for what once was, nothing to do with an expectation, or even an inkling we will ever get anywhere near it ever again

Given how we shipped in goals this season, i was really hoping you would say he starts with the defense and Bury were really well-drilled at the back. Oh well, ho hum.

Quisling little floozy. Can't see this ending amicably. I can however see it ending with some kind of ear cupping.

I mean it was his first full season as a manager so maybe in future he will be a little more defensive minded but his main focus is on scoring and entertaining. It will be difficult to keep it up the further up the league he goes.

That's Walsall and Scunny now who have appointed well (imo).

With Bowyer at Bradford, they would be my initial front runners for the top 7 or so.

Seems to be a good season to be in L1 next year. Surely 2 relegation spots are already taken with Bolton and Bury.

Good decision.

Fraud of a manager.

Everything the bury and Swindon fans said all along rang completely true

Sensible decision to get rid of Flitcroft, but seems like a bit of an odd, left-field appointment?

Is that a full time or just an interim appointment? If the latter, I'd expect them to chuck some money at Lowe and some of the Bury players.

Really strong league next year I reckon with the four relegated clubs all seemingly making good appointments (assuming Plymouth get Lowe).

I think he will be back in League 2 soon. He would probably do better at a club that doesnt need to go up as a mandatory requirment.

I agree with this, he would be perfect for a smaller club like Exeter, Oldham etc.
