Good news that Reuben is training but wonder if this one will be a bit too soon, especially as we've found goals elsewhere, though he's surely the best option if we go one up front being away.
I'm almost sure Reuben will not be included in starting eleven.
MC said his injury is the type that takes time to heal.
He might come on a late sub. He travelled with team to Exeter but was not included in the squad, so who knows.

32 booked on coach so probably around double that number.
Long day with early start deters many.

Will be around 150 I reckon. Maybe more. We had 300 at Northampton.

I can't remember this one. What game was that?
Two years ago in the promotion year in front of the FGR away supporters.
[Perhaps Rhead was not goalscorer but he was out of order for his behaviour]

As TJF says, that was Lee Angol, not Rhead. Rhead was in the celebrations but it was Angol who went over to your lot. Your defender tried to buy a free-kick and failed.

Have to say I thought Ellis went down a bit easy thinking he'd got the foul - did think it was a foul but he should have played on.
My memory is that it was a clear foul and that our physio had to come on field after goal to check out a groggy Ellis.
But irrespective whether Ellis tried to con the referee or not, the Lincoln players should have celebrated scoring with their fans and not bait the FGR supporters.

Yeah, the old saying about playing to the whistle, if the ref doesn't give a foul then you have to get up sharpish and play on.

Some players do, but most don't. The other week Brown was fouled in the game against Tranmere, but managed to stay on his feet and make a pass to one of our players...at which point the ref blew for a foul and brought play back, removing the advantage and punishing a player who didn't take a dive. Can't remember what we did with the free-kick though.

1/12 of it certainly is.

Exactly

Cowley, to his credit, is a master of gamesmanship. At TNL there are bets on what time the Lincoln goalkeeper will fall to the ground and call upon physio for treatment while Cowley gathers his players around him to give them tactical advice. It always happens when Lincoln are under pressure and at every match against FGR.
Fortunately MC has wised up to this tactic and now FGR do same but nowhere near as blatant as Lincoln.

Spot on. They did the exact same thing at least twice when we held them to draw at SB. That infamous 'should that be a yellow or red?' match.

I know they're not exactly breaking any rules, but the truth of the whole thing is that it doesn't reflect too well on the club, and then some Imps fans wonder why the other fans bring this sort of stuff up from time to time.

Lincoln are a decent side and there's a good chance they'll go up this year, and yet the Cowleys still resort to gamesmanship. Makes one wonder what other stuff they're capable of if they were managing a poor side fighting for their league status.

Undecided! help please.

Can FGR fans buy tickets tomorrow on the gate/ticket office?

I can never make my mind-up if I will go in time to buy a ticket from the allocation to away fans. I can't find any information on our own site.

Cheers

No ta, you're neck of the woods ;);).
Before 2011 knew sod all about them.
Can't think why they were better than us for the first five seasons we played them :£

We're now officially a profit making sustainable club. Our budget is probably half of yours, if that. And yet we will still easily out-football you.

Easily "out-football" us, hmmm :pmsl:- despite our non-rivalry, this is one of the most anticipated games in Lincoln's season. Will be around 9,000 in the ground tomorrow. The crowd will be up for this one more than most games.

And as for predicting our "injury" break time, you're better off predicting what time you will be serenaded with "you can stick your veggie burgers up your ar*e":bg:

You've cleared 11 million of historical debt, fair play.
Not a clue what our budget is but I'm very competitive for this division.
Find out tomorrow, you knocked the ball about last season too .

It's about time we got something out of this fixture, not entirely optimistic this week, but who would deny the lads a chance after two decent wins.

With regards the gamesmanship and goalie injury, the problem is that they have been rumbled, at least by the fans, and the tactic might actually cause them harm in the end. It has to be the goalie who goes down because the ref won't make the player leave the pitch for treatment, which would be the risk if it was an outfield player, so it is a sort of calculated risk. The problem for them will be if they get the same ref in a number of games who remembers what has happened, includes it in their match report, and they get investigated for using what is a bit of a dubious tactic to gain advantage.

The goal was scored down that end, they're hardly going to run to the other end. Besides which, I'm sure Chris and his chav mates had been giving it the big "I am". Rheady always gets stick for being fat and I'm sure this was no different. He just likes to remind the fans of what they had been saying, usually by cupping his gut.

You've won 2/3 times at sincil bank, when Mr parkin and co were in your ranks.
I believe it's 6 wins a piece?

Off the crossbar from 25 yards, absolute rocket. We are hanging on a bit here. Not had much of the ball although we look like we could score on occasion too, especially from set pieces. Your 'keeper is a bit of a flapper!
