You were bigging the "2nd" team up a couple of hours ago kev. Oh well theres 30k there that's always the number 1 priority before the result for leeds fans. You'll probably win still

Alan Sheehan free kick and Jake Jervis’ first ever goal for Luton! I must be dreaming.
First goal was a Junior Hoilett OG.

Cardiff must have been hilariously bad tonight if Jervis is scoring against them.

Stoke chucking a 2 goal lead away now - seemingly going from bad to worse for them

We were bollocks in the second half, Bayliss & Ledson looked absolutely knackered in midfield and it just invited pressure, not helped when you have a central midfielder at right back and an inexperienced left winger at left back, both looked well out of place. As soon as Bowen came on I knew they'd equalise, we were just second to everything. Potts and Green were pretty poor and Stockley was bollocks when he came on.

Good penalties though and in the next round so fuck it.

Huntington probably my man of the match, scored the first goal and cleared his lines. Harrop did pretty well too.

Hope Barkhuizen coming off was just a precaution.

Just given the derby youth team a lesson. Not really sure what Cocu was thinking with that team. It’s only the league cup but the fan reaction tells you what you need to know. Mental team selection and can see this being the start of the stick that beats him to death ultimately

30,002 in a 2nd round league cup game, that's all that counts

should have been 30,003 but fuck if i'm going on a hot Tuesday night vs Stoke

He'll be here all year along as we're not sitting in the relegation zone. He's been brought in to bring some of our lads through, he just went a bit OTT last night I think. Nothing gained there.

The meltdown is only because of the meh start when in reality our two penalty misses are the reason we're not sat in the top 6 right now. Early doors yet.

Signing Wayne Rooney suggests expectations are a little higher than staying out of the relegation zone..

Who probably won't get going until February, not sure we're expecting to be top 6 come then with Jamie Paterson on the wing. It's another transitional year for us, as last season was. We just had some quality loans and a couple of bottle jobs from Bristol City and Leeds to probably make the season seem much better than it was. Not sure it'll be the same this year, I'll take top 10.

Too many changes and as usual it yields a disjointed crap performance, seemed like he was shoehorning players in to keep everyone happy, we need a new manager fairly sharpish. Happy to get through though, home draw against lowest ranked side next please.

Happy with that. I hope he plays our best team and tries to keep the score down a bit. We'll still get a pasting like.
