Get a grip you fucking clown, a desperate post typical of you.

I’m a dick for correctly and accurately pointing out he’s the worst manager we’ve ever had, get a fucking grip and have e a clue what you’re on about before you post, you really let yourself down.

You’ve the potential to be a knowledgable poster if you research and think more before you post

To be told i have the potential to be a knowledgeable poster by you oh lordy im truly blessed

Wooooohooooo we won away. Sounds like the sending off made a massive difference. But a wind a win, should scored more than one, but Bowerys goal was superb. Would be nice to go on a little run now, but I’m not optimistic.

Good luck Audrey!
Thanks, Bob! Got a property sorted for an annual rental to give us time to find somewhere to buy and to sell our place here - Brexit notwithstanding! Bit apprehensive tbh, but faint heart never fucked a pig as they say!

I’ve decided that those Swindon fans calling us mid-table fodder like themselves is rubbish we are better than them.

Out.

Sounds good mate. We’ll be heading abroad when we can afford to finish work, bought a gaff in Turkey a few years back. Hopefully Brexit won’t affect our London flat as that’s our pension pot...

Anyway, back to the football!!

Based on what? Yesterday was a game between 2 sides that cancelled each other out. Neither side impressed at all.

Difficult to judge as Tranmere had a player sent off after 20 minutes and we had a crap side out that day but Tranmere looked head and shoulders above Mansfield. A quick glance at the league table suggests that also.

On paper Mansfield have a good squad of league 2 players and I think are performing below where they should be. Perhaps if Flifcroft could train your players properly win instead of teaching them how to kick moving targets you would be higher in the table.

In the first half, one of your players got a booking for a bad foul on Matt Taylor and after receiving the yellow received a hand shake from DF. No wonder A red card wasn’t long in following!!

It doesn’t really matter what we think of Mansfield. Thankfully, based on yesterday, we only have to watch you once.

But results over an extended period don’t lie. Brown is probably a bit worse than Flitcroft based on ratios - not much in it. 5 wins out of 25 or something like that. You may take the ‘jam tomorrow’ outlook with Flitcroft, always thinking one result will kick start the genius.

Half a season’s worth of results don’t lie.

Something's not right with Newport, is it?

I mean, reports would suggest they're a decent side but they've conceded 24 goals, which is about double those around them.

It says to me they aren't genuinely promotion material and they will eventually fall away. They've only kept 4 clean sheets, even we've managed more.

I agree. Does also sound like Stevenage had several excellent chances to score, but either a save, tackle, post or bad miss helped us out.

But, after 4 points from our last 2 and 7 from our last 4, hopefully we can get a bit of confidence and start to improve the all round performances. A draw on Tuesday would be more than acceptable from a long trip to a ground and team we struggle with. Like you say though, hopefully we can go on a run, got the fixtures to do it. Yeovil(no wins in the last 6), Grimsby(struggling), Mansfield(not pulling up any trees despite a talented team), Northampton(struggling). Plus an FA Cup and Checkatrade tie. Fingers crossed this is the turning point, but as you say, not optimistic.

We're gonna piss this tin pot league.

Nothing to see here, everyone can keep calling us poor and underestimating.

As for head and shoulders above, have you seen Manny Monthe? The blokes a beast. Not sure what FGR have that meant he wasn’t playing for them. He’s been excellent at centre back or as a defensive left back due to our ongoing injury issues in that position (3 injured for yesterday that play LB).

Piss poor attempt at trolling love. 0/10

It was not an attempt, I only speak the truth.

Enjoy the conference!

Funny you mention him. When I saw your line up I picked him out as your weak link as he looked like an old fashioned cartoon character baddy.

How wrong I was, he was a beast at left back and had our pacy winger sorted all game.

Based on watching them for one game...which of course means I'm an expert...I would say they go to all out attack mode, when they go a goal down, too early. It's the right thing to do in the eightieth minute but leaves you wide open for too long if you're doing it from the sixtieth.

If you watch ANGs goal yesterday you will see he collected the ball on the half way line and most Newport players were in the Crawley half.

What about? That Flitcroft is the man?

No that we are better than you, one game playing ten men must mean that surely?

I’m also convinced Exeter are the best team in the league, only ones thus far to beat Mansfield.

Didnt go yesterday but quite clear we were well beaten. One of those things but as Casey says we do have a go when chasing games. Too many times this season however we have conceded early and in fairness we have turned it round most times but cant keep doing this. Yesterday, for the first time this season, we paid penalty of having such a small squad - no midfield available and squad players not up to it. Only 2 real outfield subs on the bench, even Flynn had his boots on. With everyone available we will give anyone a game in L2 but over the course of the season we will get found out due to small squad. Top 10 finish is realistic. Anything more than this would be a bonus.

Well, I wouldn’t get too excited about that. Being better than us ain’t going to get you anywhere.

I really took to Manny (his late winner away at Barrow for us is one of my best moments of that Conference season) and thought he had all the attributes, think he suffered from being part of a poor defence that struggled through our first league season in that he got held back at out general level while he was still trying to make the step up from even lower down the pyramid than we'd come from.

Caught the highlights of the league earlier.

Stevenage can feel hard done too with that red card! Never last man surely? Great finish from Bowery though. He seems to always look awful against us but seems to get a lot of goals in general.

Great goal from Jevani Brown for Cambridge too.

Fair play to Macclesfield finally winning. Our fans were moaning about us wearing purple against Oldhams blue but noticed Carlisle did the same.

So whoever is in charge of the fixtures should be fired.

Three days after going up to Grimsby (293 miles) they make us go to Crawley (190 miles). So almost a thousand miles in a few days.

I know it's not just us, I remember we played home to Stevenage on the Saturday after they played at Carlisle in midweek. And they looked jaded.

How can anyone expect teams to perform like that? I get that there have to be a few games in midweek and that these games have to be played but when there are three games in a week why can't they do away - home - away or at least make one of the away games a local one?

Yes I'm getting the excuses in early..

We've had Morecambe (290) on Saturday and now Grimsby (185) tomorrow night too.

We had Yeovil (Cup Replay), Carlisle and Colchester all away in the 10 days before Xmas last year. Over 1000 miles and played extra time at Yeovil and had 9 men from just after half time... got 4 points from Carlisle 3 days later and Colchester the following week so didn't do us too much harm, killer for the loyal nutters who did all three just before Xmas though!

Oddly all our Tuesday away's this season seem to be long haul, Stevenage, Carlisle, Yeovil off the top of my head are all Tuesday games.

I’m hoping no one is silly enough to start a MK Dons v Notts thread separately to this.
We will lose.
