Burton only took took 227, and you say our support is poor.
Yes it was rather pathetic but i didn't expect many more.
Although this cup is dying a slow death, some of the crowds were shocking.
Wigan 3800, Colchester, ours and a few others.

To be fair to you guys Middlesborough on a Tuesday night is hardly appealing and are one of those meh Championship/Premier clubs that you'd always be disappointed to draw out, similar to Reading or Watford would be.

Burton's following is poor but they are a small club and its a crap competition.

Be some interesting followings tonight.

Morecambe at Mansfield can’t be much given they only played each other on Saturday?

66 last night from Morecambe at Mansfield compared to 110 on Saturday for the league game.

In fairness Macc, FGR and Swindon are all decent and respectable.

To put Swindon 207 in context we played a League one side who are 50 minutes from ourselves and they brought 227.
Fair play.
School holidays and chance for a day out at seaside for families probably helped our numbers but better than I expected. Plus there's a number of fans who are refusing to go to home games and doing all the aways instead.

I know this is away numbers thread but what exactly is the situation at Macc financially. Because you are obviously paying players or nobody would of signed?
Hope it's been resolved.

I think in all honest, no body knows.

The owner doesn't communicate anything. We find out yesterday that all outstanding wages were cleared but HMRC have now taken the petition over so there is obviously something else unpaid. Though apparently the funds are there to cover that - if that's the case, why not just pay it in the first place?!

I think the main concern is that all we're doing is robbing Peter to pay Paul and come the cold wet winter months and the most likely postponement of a home game or two we'll suddenly have some "cash flow" problems again.

I think it will carry on like this until he owner goes, but I can see it being a case of him wanting too much money for what the clubs worth.

It was actually 277 at Vale but either way it's pathetic.
We don't turn up generally and even less for this cup.

Bit confusing on numbers today. We’ve pre sold just under 1000, but Exeter seem to think there is also POTD available for some seats in another stand. Don’t think old bill would be too keen on that.

A typically pathetic 422 Stevenage at Orient. Much harder to get the numbers when you’ve not got 500 or so from the 92 club turning up.

283 Grimsby at FGR.

Surprised by that really as we usually take a few more than that there and we’ve had a good start too.

1,045 Oldham. Fantastic as well considering their team is horrendous. Be a shame to lose another good club from the football league, but seeing their team and what their owner has done it won’t surprises one bit.

Appreciate the effort, even if I've bugger all to do with PNE!

We are terrible at announcing away numbers, i've not seen anything.

Can only make a guesstimate, around 700-800.

Cheers, wasn't sure if an official figure had cropped up. I'd have said it felt like somewhere between those figures from the away end so nice to have that confirmed.

Ha sorry, because you posted Thursday I thought you wanted the figure from the Caribou Cup game, on my phone it doesn’t tell me who you support so presumed you were Preston.

About 1500 Saddlers at Crewe, we've been slow giving out away numbers this season which is weird.
