Thing is you only get one shot with a Stag. Apart from that little patch of turf next to the Trent, they keep themselves happy rutting in their home range. They rarely venture outside it when the going gets tough, especially in the harsh winters of the east coast...a bit like an Imp really.

Amateur - ask any TFF/OFF veteran, you take the piss out of the stag home followings, not away.

Hence why this is the incorrect thread

Only 100 tickets have made it to general sale for our next away game at Newport.

Club is saying 1,037.

Note to Salford, this is the accepted standard of how you organise tickets for away fans.

And we always get them over bloody Christmas when it’s even less appealing to go than it already is! Nice little New Year’s Day present that was!

Huge queue at Vale Park this morning for Salford tickets so that should sell out easily. Feel good factor is back.

Huge queue at 5 o'clock tomorrow getting a refund? :2thumb:

Doubt it, regardless of the result its more the fact we can enjoy and worry about simply the on field matters for once. Last year we feared being closed down or going down to non league with no future or likely route back.

Should be a much more positive place to be tomorrow. Cant wait for that... win would be nice mind!

Think the club have handl;ed it quite poorly - making people wait in a queue for two hours is pretty amateurish.

Not helped by Salford's late release of tickets and the fact that loads of people were collecting their season tickets too, but lessons to learn for the new owners.

True will be a lesson going forward, although the whole Salford thing has been a fiasco, even in a cup replay you get more notice to sell them than we've had! Good to see the images of Carol and couple of the players going to meet the fans queuing.

Agreed, there are not many of us who haven't been through similar situations. Despite rivalry's none of us want any of the 'regulars' to go into the NL and beyond.
Aldershot is local for me, I know a few of their genuine fans and, even after last season where they were rescued by Gateshead's demise, they still don't have much hope of getting back into the league anytime soon. They fear going the other way again first.
It is shameful what has happened at Bury and Bolton, it's self induced, but it's not the fans who have caused it. We have been in a similar position a number of times.
I hope that both Bury and Bolton survive but things do not look good.

Just 91 tickets remaining out of our Salford allocation. So they won't be lasting until general sale its safe to say.

Very much so, just excited to have a United club and fan base and going for the football and not worrying every time smurf tweets or is interviewed as to what’s next. When he’s saying he will be sucking on a lollipop as we rot in non league it doesn’t make you sleep easy.

Bury look in deep trouble sadly, they’ve overspent a few times and this seems once too many. Think they’ve even registered the Phoenix club with companies house I read.

Bolton seems a mess but think they’ll get sorted due to sheer size of the club.

Either way hopefully they both survive and be stable going forward. It’s all most fans want at this level first and foremost.

Given our complete lack of organisation off the pitch on matchdays, getting accurate away numbers from our home games may be difficult this season. But for now an estimate of 400 won't be far off.
