455 MK Dons at Crewe. Decent following for them, certainly the most I can remember them bringing here.

I reckon we might.

Hopefully not as they'll be 24 hours too early :)

We usually take a decent number for the distance, probably 2-300 although looks as though a large following at Tranmere as we've got a second batch of tickets so may have an effect on numbers Tuesday.

Crawley's is what it is, they have had the lowest following at Vale Park in decades with 20 odd a couple of seasons ago so on a Saturday 3 times that I guess is standard.

As a Vale fan exiled in the capital, the lack of trains out of Euston for the next three weekends is having a negative impact on the number of matches I can attend, and I would guess it's had an impact on other fans too - perhaps some from Crawley on Saturday?

Guess we will still take 3 or 400 tomorrow night but scores of fans will not go on principle of putting money into the pockets of the franchise scum.

How quaint. ah well I've heard worse.

Genuine questions what is like to be a fan of probably the most universally hated team of the lower leagues (in almost certain the prem don’t care)? And secondly, we’re you a Wimbledon fan before or only an MK dona fan?

I’d always think what I’d do if my team moved 50 miles away and I still think I’d support them. Tricky one though.

Yep I’m in that boat for Morecambe this weekend. Having to go to fucking Yeovil tomorrow night to make up for it ffs.

I always thought clubs had to publish their attendances

They do, but I think - somewhat bizarrely - they get five days or something before it has to be declared to the league. 99.9% of the time everyone announces it on the day, occasionally you see the odd one that says TBC. Why that would be the case is beyond me, but Swindon took a while to announce one last year too (versus Chesterfield if memory serves me).

Ridiculous stance to have when even AFC bring 3,000 to us in my opinion. How many of those 'boycotting' were a part of the 20,000 that went to Wembley for the JPT final?

1) We love it. It gives us an 'us against the world' feeling that honestly has helped us since 2004. As for the next point about prem clubs, you're right that for the most part they don't care. You'll get the odd few fans from clubs that either had a soft spot for the original Wimbledon or played us in League 1/2 a few years back that keep the same opinions, but even in the Championship not many fans cared unless they'd been down in L1/2 for years while we were there.

As for your second point, there are more Wimbledon FC fans than anybody would like to admit. Personally I'm pure MK, I was 5 when the move was agreed and 7 when Wimbledon moved, so it's all I've really known. Others didn't care about football before the move and got into it through MK, and then as MK is a London overspill city you'll get a lot of people with London teams that just can't afford to go there that have fallen for the club.

I was never a Wimbledon fan, in fact I was mainly an armchair prem football watcher due to never living in one place for long. I settled in MK and when Wimbledon moved here I started going with my son who is a fanatical MK fan now. So it's the only football team I've ever really supported. I suppose I could have put him in an Chelsea or Arsenal shirt like most people here but in the end, however they came to be, they are our local team.

Also, tbh there is a lot more hostility from other fans on forums and discussion boards than I have ever witnessed at the games. My local is an away fans favourite and it's usually pretty good for banter and a laugh.

Saying all that, I understand the anger the move created but that's what's happened. I can't change anything and I'm not giving up taking my son to football over it.
